And apparently the valve seals are worse than I thought.
Well, the cylinders were all pretty close and the ones on the drivers side were "okay" so that's what puzzles me. And no I didn't.that 1 low compression cylinder is probably burning it all up. did you ever to a wet compression test on that cylinder?
I think that's your "smoking gun" right there....cough...cough.
Valve seals, piston rings, leaks......an overhaul might be the way to go. 2¢
