need engine help asap

Question on a Dodge Ram Van 2500 with a 318 motor. When it is cold it runs fine for about 5 miles then starts spitting and sputtering. Guessing we thought it was a lack of fuel. We changed the fuel pump in the tank, the rotor, Distributor, Plugs, Plug wires, coil and checked the catalytic converter. All is ok. still cutting out after it heats up. When it cuts out it looses power and pings like bad gas. We had the tank out and we are sure its not bad gas. Anyone out there have an idea?? We also, checked the spindle on the rotor to see if maybe the gear is out. It was ok as well.
