Looks like a fake, plastic cylinder to a revolver and a crappy, cheap looking one at that. I wouldn't put that thing on my bicycle. lol
I thought you said you didn't like "fake" things on your truck and bashed the hell out of others for doing the same thing, a little two faced don't ya think? smh
I'm only bashing it because you asked for our opinion, and it looks like **** and just stupid looking all together.
In the future, don't bash others efforts because you don't like something, we all have different tastes, say something positive or nothing at all.
No body likes a **** around here!

Second of all I never bashed other people trucks. Never once said their truck was trash. just said I would save money for the real deal. You must be one of those people that need a safe place when your feeler get hurt.

These look really good when installed on the dash or maybe mud flaps. You don’t even notice the shift knob anymore.

I just noticed this dial is different then the stock one I have, acquired this as part of my stereo conversion debacle. Does anyone know if this would work on my truck?
That dial shows an auto 4wd, my stock one doesn’t, would be nice to leave that as automatic

Well your old shifter should fit into the face plate and the knob will switch over. As to the whole thing I don't know if its compatible with your truck.

No, you can't just install it and have the "auto" function....

I wouldn't doubt if the "auto" is something that the dealer can program.

I gotta say I don't like the cylinder shift knob at all...To me it looks like something a 12 year old would do.
But hey....It's your truck.

It's funny how everyone has there likes and dislikes about what one does to his or her truck. Hey dammit, as long as it suites your personality and you like it, go with it and don't give two or 4 ***** about the added value of others not liking. Tis what tit is.. lol. I mean Hey, I have a red grill and a black truck. I am sure not everyone likes that **** either, but I do and that is what matters.. lol.. Blah Blah Blah..

Yeah I never get bent if people dont like what I do. I posted on a forum your always going to get someone that doesn't like it. No sense in getting mad cause you will see something you dont like on some else truck and make a comment on how you dont like it lol.

Pretty FN cool!

I've been looking for something I could use as a knob.

Maybe a billards ball cut in half

My son made a shift knob for a Dakota he is putting a 440 into, he copied one of mine and milled it out , I polished up some 357Mag shell for it, after all you gota have mag ammo in a mag truck, also 2 hi rise carter 4 barrels, had a picture, but can't find it?

I would not put that on mine either, but I am 76, but on the kids custom, or my old floor shift, O.K.
I was on a gun auction site and there was a bag of 10or more revolver cylinders, $50 , they where all H. Smidt, 22, so not as bad ass as center fire , but at 5.oo a pop, would make cheap knobs with a bit of polish. But no I did not buy them.

My first truck was s 73 power wagon. Had a 440 in it had 850cfm, carb high rise intake manifold, moderate cam and punched 30 over. It was awesome I wish I could of kept it but fresh out of high school transmission blew and got a car more affordable. To this day I wish I kept it but in a few years I'll have another.
