I have the PC along with a Hemifever 89 tune on my Trinity. I like being able to adjust the throttle response on the fly as opposed to having to reflash the tune. It works out great for me because if I want to have some fun I put the PC in Sport +4 and then turn it off for normal driving. I also put it in Eco when I'm towing so that I get about the stock throttle feel when I tow my camper.

Sport+ +4 and a Hemifever tune is absolutely insane. Chirp the tires at will.

We always have customers asking about is a PC usable with a tune. My response is they compliment each other. the tuner gives more power and the PC gives more throttle control and that control is also on the fly unlike most tuners. the PC has 36 settings from tame to crazy.

Whats the deal with this? I just did dome light reading about it and watched some videos. Is it real or placebo? Any here run in yet?

Definitely real! It’s not like a tuner it’s designed to remove the lag between foot and car. When the car can react as fast as the foot then that’s an improvement.
It was the very first mod I bought after buying my truck and couldn’t be happier.
I wish I’d have known about PC before I sold my Camaro SS2SS

This. I found I have done much less flashing of tunes since I got the PC. I agree, they compliment each other nicely.

If I had 136 settings, it would be right where it is now. And stay there.

But hey, if you're happy, I'm tickled to death.

Does the PC have any impact on the transmission "challenges" with the 6.4 or is it purely a throttle response thing?

AFAIK it's just throttle response. But with increased throttle input I've found my 65RFE will downshift much sooner than without the PC...

Sweet Jesus the last thing I want my 2500 6.4L to do is upshift even sooner lol Most of us want the damn thing to hold gears longer.....and of course the only way is to "teach" it that is what you want by driving around like a teenager hammering the thing so it "learns" but then when you drive normal for a bit it goes back to 3rd gear at like 15-20mph......

I was running the canned 87 Octane tune with PC at Sport +2 and really enjoyed. I decided to change it up and run the canned MPG tune and PC at Sport+ -2. The throttle response nearly exactly the same and now I might get a few more MPGs to boot.

87 Octane Sport +2
City: 16.5 MPG
Highway: 22.2 MPG

I'm about 2 weeks in with my PC and the 6.4. I find it has made the tranny more responsive to the throttle and I seem to like city +2. I'll be towing with it soon. Looking forward to how it works out..

Just put the PC on my 2017 pentastar. Pretty crazy how different it feels. Not sure where I’m gonna set it yet. Sport plus is way to jumpy. City almost feels stock to me.

The Pedal Commander does not directly "talk" to the transmission but the changes it makes to the throttle changes how the transmission performs. It definitely will get it to down shift sooner instead of lug along like it would stock.

Well worth the money. Does not increase hp or tq however it takes away any "lag" you might experience during acceleration. Lots of people here have them and they seem to get good reviews. As was stated check out the threads about them.

Exactly. It helped my transmission smarten the heck up. Gave it a kick in the ass or something.

So...Does the unit void any warranty and if so, does a simple uninstall of it leave a trace or trail for a dealer to find?

Nope on voiding warranty and leaving traces of install. Simple plug and play, takes about 60 seconds to install/uninstall.
