I'll check them out.
Esskcustoms is in Sask and do $9 shipping so I'm into that. I'm in Calgary.

Thanks for posting your build. Seems we're going the same direction. What did you do with your High Beams? Looks like you left the stock halogens in there?

Love me some Black Friday shopping. Things escalated quickly.
Ordered the following; (Esskcustoms- Sask Canada)

Low Beams
Morimoto Mini H1 7.0 + Moto Holders
H1- 5500K HID bulbs
Hylux 2A88C Canbus
Anti Flicker Low Beam Harness (2)

High Beams
Profile Hi-Lens LED
Hi Beam Splitter

Fogs
Morimoto XB LED Fogs- horizontal

Plus the Morimoto Glue and Permatrator cleaner.

The Fogs were a complete impulse buy. Was not planning on these, but with 20% off how could I resist....
the clear marker lens is on back order for another week so i wont see the parts until mid-December. not a huge deal. I'm moving next week and likely wont have time to start this until the new year.

More to come....

Did you consider the mini d2s 4.0? They're a bit bigger and a bit more expensive than the mh1 but uses d2s bulbs which gives you more options. I kind of regret not going md2s a bit but the mh1 will fit easily as its smaller. Md2s offers more hot spot but is a tad narrower.

Did you look at prolightz? Free shipping with 20-25% off across the board. I ordered some 4tlr for the wife's odyssey and matchbox 2.0 for my upcoming fog retro.

You'll need to order the morimoto 2015+ mopar harness if yours is a late model 4th gen. The harness is pricey but it does a great job at tricking the canbus system.

Nice, it came recommended from the Company i plan to get the parts through. I'll have to see what funds allow. If you do go that way keep me in the loop. Would like to hear your experience with mounting it all in the housing.
Got the Hi-Lens. No issues mounting the Hi-Lens into the high beam reflector.

I removed the black plastic ring for the 9006 bulb and used the 2nd smallest washer behind the nut for the Hi-Lens. No clearance issues or.mods made.a74625d607872f24268c4ca00f386754.jpg1137171c70aed2329d89b123e8b02f32.jpg808aaab42c50532e9aef0d89df7af595.jpge148c371bf5872c132738e8d30f7a45b.jpg

Yes.
The guy at Ess really helped me out and price matched a few items so I didn’t mind the few bucks for shipping.

Picked out parts that would easily instal and were nothing crazy. This started as mild build and then grew quickly.

Question on the Profile Hi-lens.
Are you able to disassemble it a little? I’m going for a blacked out look don’t want it to stand out too much.

Mines a 2010 so I shouldn’t need anymore harnesses.

Looks good. I've never tried those hi lens so I can't comment, sorry.

You'll be happy once you're done...its been over a year and the light output still puts a smile on my face.

Ok, got all moved in to the new house and survived the Christmas holidays. Happy to get back to working on these headlights.
Been following a few builds and taking lots of notes. Shouldn't have to much trouble since the parts I ordered are nothing over the top.

First step was swapping in the used set of lamps I bought locally. These are absolute garbage. The lens' are so scratched and fogged up that these will probably just go in the trash when I'm done. Most of the clips were busted or cracked. I should have checked them over better...
Whatever. My original ones are in much better shape.

IMG_1555.JPG IMG_1556.JPG

Had a small issue when swapping over my bulbs. Turns out the used set I bought didn't have the black clip to hold in the high beam bulb.

So of coarse I broke it trying to get it out and snapped a piece off the housing.

IMG_1557.JPG IMG_1558.JPG

Need to order the black piece so I'm not driving around with no high beams. I'll try and JB Weld the housing piece back in but its small enough that the Profile lights i have coming should still mount with no issue.
Hopefully I get some time to bake these and open them up soon.
- seen someone post up they opened a set with ease after baking them for 7 min at 275*

Also followed up with Ess on my parts order. The clear marker lens have not come in yet so my order is not ready to ship. Could have a smoked lens now but I prefer the clear.
My thought is they will tie in great with the profile hi beam and the projector lens. I want a blacked out look with some contrast.
- if anyone has photos of blacked out quad lamps post them up I'd like to see how they turned out with or without clear marker lens'.

More to come.

and just got off the phone with the parts guy at the local dealer. Seems the black clip i broke is only available with the head lamp assembly.

I'll need to do some more digging.

Could be different. Not sure
How did you get them off?
Pretty sure I don’t need these to mount my new lights so I could use the one I haven’t broke.

If I can’t get something to work I may take you up on your offer.

The ones that I have, I squeezed them to get a locking tab to clear and then twisted them and they pulled off. I'll get a picture of them to see if they are different.

ok. And mine seem to work that way too. They seem like they need to be pushed out after the lights are baked and separated.

Pretty sure those are them.
How on earth did you get those out of there? Don't really have a need to worry about the high beam bulb for now.

With any luck my parts will ship soon and I can get working on these. Figures crossed the wife will let me back a side this weekend.

Good news.
Got word from Esscutoms that the clear market light is in and my order has shipped.

With any luck I’ll see it next week.
Going to try and get some time with the oven on Saturday.
