Hey guys,

Any suggestions for spark plug replacement for a 4.7L? Truck is about to touch 200,××× miles. Keep in mind, I'm a performance guy and fully believe in quality:) so hit me hard..lol

Also, I got full synthetic oil, been using Mobile 1, but I hear Castro GTX is good for Mopar. What are yalls take on that?

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

I'm running the NGK ZFR6F-11G 6987, in my 2002. They are a step hotter than stock.

Did you notice an improvement in mileage or performance with the hotter plugs?

Nice! How many miles on your 2002? And have you noticed any difference in performance? You say they are hotter, do I want a hotter plug?

I just bought my 2002 in September, it has 193xxx miles on it. I went with the hotter plug so it would burn the fuel more efficiently. The plugs were old and haven't been changed in years, so yes I have noticed better preformance and fuel mileage. But I also changed most everything I can to get better fuel mileage. Rear 02 sensor is next on the list.

I have a 2006 ram 1500 4x4, 4.7L, 156k miles... it has a slight shaking when idling, service engine light is off, no codes on the scanner... Any ideas?

I need to do my plugs and wonder what would be the best option, I heard the stock plugs are best?
