Photobucket was a joke! To many pop up ads. UOA was worse!
Looking at my 2nd Sample kit envelope. They didn't even pay postage!
The 1st envelope was already prepaid.
This just keeps getting better.
My next sample I will probably go with Polaris or Amsoil!
Ok I will do this the hard way:
Kenneth: universal averages show typical wear levels for this type of engine after about 5900 miles on the oil. This was a shorter run, so it's nice to see wear metals so low. Iron tends to track most directly with miles on the oil and the shorter than average run is partly to thank for this very low level. However, the engine left less iron per mile behind than average and that's great news. The other metals also look good compared to averages. The TBN 2.8 showing active additive left for longer run. 1.0 or less is low no fuel or coolant showed up. Try 6000 miles on the oil.

TBN 2.8 4K miles on this OCI
Like I said: if this is actually my truthful data numbers, I am thrilled with the low wear numbers but puzzled by the Low TBN & low additive package still remaining!
This OCI had around 320 miles worth of light/medium duty towing (3K-4Klbs) - 6x12 Uhaul enclosed trailer full/empty of the daughters stuff.
It also seems the oil refused to shear much! But also this OCI had very few miles on it as well.
Ok: Done with this UOA! What I'm doing has worked & is working.
Next UOA is my focus!
