I'm looking to get rid of the crappy stock tires on my 2020 ram 1500 classic warlock. I'm going to stick with the factory size sl or xl 275/60r20. I use my truck as a daily driver also tow a side by side an I sometimes encounter snow. Want to create a poll an see what tire you guys would choose.

The tires from the factory are NOTHING like the ones sold at Discount, NTB, etc... Go look at them and you’ll see a huge difference in quality.

With that said, roll them until they’re nearly worn out to get your money’s worth.

No offense but if he's doing a little bit of off-roading with them I'd swap em out and sell them. Better to have a quality tire than be stuck with that crap. They're prone to rock punctures. Probly like a 5 ply tire, I run 10-12 ply but I also tow lots.

If you search tires on sites like TireRack, you can get more reviews on different tires including reviews by owners of Rams, and it provides different driving styles to help. Good luck.

Have any of you tested the general atx in snow? Never mind I found out why I didn't list those. I'm not looking for 10ply.

I'm running Cooper STT Pros in Winter, but the rest of the year I'm running Cooper Dicoverer AT3 XLTs and really like them. Very smooth, quiet, great in wet roads, and great towing my bass boat.
I like both tires but I don't really want to go for 10plys. I wish they still made the original at3 I would get them no questions asked I had them on my first dodge on my 1500 chevy.

There really isn't any "10 ply" tires made now days - they are 10 ply equivalent or aka E-load rated.

Biggest difference between standard load and E-load is the tread depth - as well as a slightly beefier construction and maybe 1 more ply (ignoring weight carrying capacity).

Right but normally they narrow it down in some sort of designation like that. What I'm trying to stay away from is the weight of a higher ply tire. Since the heaviest thing I tow is a 14-ft trailer with a side-by-side on it I don't see the point of doing a heavier ply tire. and the only off-roading I do is pulling my trailer to a gravel parking lot and so far knock on wood I haven't ever had an issue.

I'm running the Cooper AT3 4S, totally satisfied in all weather conditions. I live in far North jersey.

I recently got the BFGoodrich KO2 and so far love them. So far good in rain, light snow, they’re quiet, and the ride is nice and smooth. They are 3 snow flake rated tire.

I really wanted to finding a nice XL rated tire but they are very few out there in a 275/60r20.

There are a few XL rated tires, but they aren't listed everywhere.
I am running an XL General HTS 60 in that size - which is decent in most conditions that I have encountered except mud.

There are a ton of XL rated tires in the newer models size of 275/55/20.

I didn’t see the option for the General ATx tires.
Best tire I’ve ever owned.
And one of the very few
MADE IN THE USA!
I'll second this i had a set of the previous grabber at2 before they went to atx, got about 55k out of them, I ran 275 65 20, great in the snow/rain (Maine), and a decent looking tread, not to mention very little if any road noise at all on the turnpike.
