TOYO AT II's - Have over 60k miles and still have life in them! I live in Minnesota so I get to see all types of driving. I am running 305R20's but I am changing to 35/12.5R20's in the spring. I am willing to change brands but, the tire guys I have spoken to have told me to stick with the tire that I like and I have loved these Toyo's.

My experience as well and why I went toyo at3. Just had snow and ice storm here outside chicago and tires where awesome

I’ve had a 1500 and I put on BFGs all terrains. White letters out or black wall. Either way looks good.

Go to Tire Rack and search the size you want. I found several that would be perfect for your needs. I tried to post a link to the search, but it's not working for some reason.

Cooper ATX, changed about 3 months ago. No issues so far; reasonably priced, readily available (Tire Kingdom). Factory tires lasted less than 28,000 miles before they got real squirrelly on wet pavement or during rain driving. Still had decent tread left on them, no wear bars showing, but 1 short sideways trip up an expressway ramp (one reason I am glad I learned to drive in the Northeast - you learned how to control skids) during mild acceleration was 1 too many. Daily driver 2WD, snow not an issue (better not be in Central Florida), but spring/summer rain is a daily thing. I occasionally tow a 31" T/T, and noticed the rear wheels slipping on lightly wet road surfaces when starting from a light or stop sign with the O.E.M. shoes. I use a W/D hitch and anti-sway bar, truck is set right for the trailer and it had never happened previously. Better safe than sorry.

I'm running Cooper STT Pros in Winter, but the rest of the year I'm running Cooper Dicoverer AT3 XLTs and really like them. Very smooth, quiet, great in wet roads, and great towing my bass boat.

What he said. I also go up one size to a 275/65 r 20. That gets you about 1/2" radius ( 1" diameter) increase, but you can get the LT rated 10 ply load range E. Ride remains very nice, little to no noise and gives you a better sidewall for offroad activities. I've run that tire on my last five trucks, regardless of if it was a 1500, 2500 or 3500.

I really wanted to finding a nice XL rated tire but they are very few out there in a 275/60r20.

Falken AT3W offers an XL rated 6 ply in 275/55R20 for the minor difference between the 275/60R20. I had E-rated BFG's on my prior RAM because I wanted the stronger sidewall but this time decided that XL is good enough for my needs. I had them in several runs through 12+ inches of snow and was happy with them. Priced right too.

I had stock size Duratracs put on a few months ago. I've run them the last two sets on our JKUR and am very pleased with them. Very good in the rain and snow. Not overly noisy on the highway.
