Me too, I read that thread and changed my gasket when my truck was a month old before it ever leaked

I bought the md stuff to make my own gasket too and some butyl strips.

My 2000 Dakota (2nd generation) regular cab is leaking badly, should I check the 3rd brake light? Headliner and down behind the seats is soaked.

Oh geez. Glad I came across this thread. My 08 has leaked now for some time and I had been looking for the source. My garage is full of terrible smelling items that were stored under the seat. Just got a 17 last year so I guess I'll fix them both this week.
