I know what you mean. My Ram is basically just for hauling and the occasional second vehicle, even though I prefer driving it over my little Corolla for the ride and comfort. Mind you the cost of filling my little Corolla is way less then my Ram by over half. Around $55 if I'm right empty.

had the duratracs that i purchased last weekend installed today. Used tire paint pen to make the letters white like I wanted. Removed mud flaps.

Slowly but surely...

Why would you have to paint the lettering white..? The tire should already have white lettering on one side of it and none on the other. Usually when you get them mounted you need to tell the shop putting them on that you want the tires with the white lettering facing outwards where you can see it. And since the Duratrac's are not directional most shops won't ask you which way you want them mounted. So they usually get mounted with the white lettering facing inside where you can't see it.

You are right, but many tires are being produced without any white lettering since so many folks were turning them inside anyway.

My old hankooks were black lettering on both sides too.

I just like the white lettering look, so i did it with a duplicolor tire paint pen.

Probably won't last, but oh well.

First time I've heard of that. Every Duratrac I've seen have the white lettering, wether it's facing in or out. My buddy has two sets of Duratrac's, one set has the white lettering out and the other set has them in. He prefers the look of them with the white lettering facing out, (As Do I). Maybe in Canada they are manufactured different, I don't know.

I had Duratrac's on my 06 before I sold it and I don't think they had the white lettering on either side of them either which I thought was kind of weird. I loved the Duratrac's though. They were great tires.

lessee.......gimee a minute.

.first off did the fall oil change......I already had a mopar oil filter....so I went ahead and used that......old walmart bag werked good for keeping the spillage down to a a few drops. My oil plug had a built in plastic rubber seal surrounding a metal contact ring.......looked a lil' worn so I put a plastic washer with a rubber ring on both sides.......(it's a 14 mm washer kit for oil plugs at advanced auto,3 bucks an change........seemed to work ......any way the hemi tick is gone once again, :).......looking for a tire photo......

It's been a productive week.

Tore dash apart and removed the broken door blocking havc intake

Ordered a new tailgate (rusty lower lip got too bad to take any longer). Transferred the internals over and reinstalled

Working on the emblems. Trying to decide which to reinstall.
