What’s bad is mine will register ~25 cruising down the highway and average out at 16 after the motor. But hand figuring it only comes out to 8-10 at the most lol
I think the computer is messed up from from the bigger injectors and tunes

Sheesh. If sub 2 digits is what I have to look forward to modded, then I need to look into a different daily or go diesel. {{****, as is I ought to get something more fuel efficient and sportier, but I like the truck and trucks in general too much...}}

Cool thing about diesels is that they seem so simple to me. 1 type of fuel. No 87, 89, 91, 93, race gas, e85, e90 BS, just diesel. Want more power? Add more air and fuel. If your internals and cooling can take it, you're good. No ignition timing, no valve float BS or under camming it until you get into cams and such because it's already turbo'd.

They just seem great. More expensive to fix when broken, heavy, and can run away on you, but with the right safeguards, they seem fantastic.

I'd love to drop a lower displacement, lighter weight turbo diesel in my truck and have it rip balls and get 14mpg city 22 highway. Do an AWD swap, too. I could live with that very well.

Second car could be an Audi whatever TDI sedan or something. Equally fast and brutal, with double the MPG, haha.

Look into maintenance on a diesel, it's not cheap.

Woke up to more ice and snow, and like always he trucked me down the icy hills and safely to work. I seriously love this truck [emoji869]1bc754c228ac15b8db8d72d024d431ae.jpg204e681fef647d25dc382b1f761f64cc.jpga34150ce9089c7c54e5657bd73d2d10a.jpg

Don't you already have LED fog lights in the black truck? I know they don't really work that great but they look awesome. Keep those and put a light bar in the bumper on the black truck. I vote to keep it simple and looking mostly stock on the front end. More subtle that way. You already have a flashy show truck.

well phase two of this truck consist of a new much more flashy paint job, both of these trucks will will be my show toys, but yeah i have LEDs everywhere on the truck so far, only asking cause lights behind the grill is one of my "usual" mods i do, just like tow mirrors lol

for those curious about what you can polish on your paint, well here is a good example...

you can see someone had fun with a key on this truck before i got it, and of course you can see how bad it is where the "ram 1500" used to be...

8e683ed6df6981d0b992bf6c560649d3.jpg

and here is after 2 hours of polishing work put in on the door and cab...

this paint will never be perfect, but man its 100x better than before

Tool me a second to realize the ghost flames in the black paint were actually from your blue truck....
