Pulled my driver side headlight off to dry out the condensation. Wasn’t too happy about having to tear them all apart again, hopefully I fixed whatever issue was there.

I checked the oil today, it was super comforting to see that it was still topped off, I haven’t lost 5 quarts like the last time I rebuilt it haha
Now I’m doing some more sanding and finish coat on that kick panel for the console. It’s coming out pretty good so far, it’s nice not having that huge hole staring at me right now

never assume they are fixed, lol, i had my projectors on my 13 be good for u dont even know how long, drove and sat through many storms, then walked out a week ago after a rain and had 1" of water in the light, its almost like they tease you and once you let your guard down they get cha, but i found a rubber seal that the Chinese did cheap that failed that time...

on my 08 i found the rubber boot that goes around the back of the headlight bowl had failed, so always check your rubber and make sure its not broken :Nonono:

I think I didn’t have enough rubber in the corner, it was a big gap. I cleaned most of the old rubber out and put a thicker bead in, it’s all I can really do, hope it stays dry

Throw some Silca packs in the back of the headlight too.. helps get rid of any moisture they may get in there. My headlight tend to just have condensation issues only at the car wash :/

Nice. If I go for a single cab, I want a late 3g. Whichever year had the taller shock towers and coilovers/Macphersons. I think it was 07. But maybe not an 08 because I think that's the year they went to the metric oil filter...

Really wish there was an easily searchable changelog for this ****.

Dream fleet atm. Would be a late 3g SCRB pro touring/pro daily, and a 4g cc or qc EcoDiesel daily.

(Just remember I said "at the moment" okay? Plz don't rag me.for constantly changing desires, it's a part of my condition. Lol. Then again, it really is more realistic atm to work with this truck than try making payments, afaik...)

The change to coilover/macpherson wasn't until 2009, the first of the 4th gens.
