Finally started doing the rot over the wheel wells. Passenger side is done.
And, I picked up the well liners. Need to protect my blood, sweat, tears, and investment.

Is that better than the fender flares

I'm kinda torn between putting the flares back or not. My intention was to replace the smooth factory style flares for pocket flares but I'm kinda liking it right now without anything on there.

Pull the access plugs and clear them out. Do it now. They will rot from the inside out and by the time you realize a problem it will be too late. You can use air or thoroughly rinse out with water. Just get all the grit and slop out asap. Then treat the inside with a rush proofing product. Trust me, I learned the hard way.

I must ask, where are the access plugs? I had some bubbling and I ended up sanding it all down, bubbles lead to holes, and painted. When I went under the truck you saw numerous (what I call) drain holes down the side where I ended up using my air compressor and shooting out a lot of rocks and rust! I was surprised, but where are the plugs you mentioned?

Along the back side of the rockers there should be a bunch of oval shaped rubber plugs that you pull out.
If you have running boards(not step bars)sometimes the installation uses those holes for mounting brackets.
Also if the rockers are buried in undercoating they may be a little harder to see.

Had a weird hole in the back of my right valve cover. Changed it and the gaskets this morning on that side. I was quite pleased with how the head looked underneath.

wish all the rain past few days, I noticed an old friend returning... my back seats and carpet are once again wet. Turns out my issue isn't the brake light or window surround, its that damn sliding window. After completely sealing the out/inside like a madman and drying in interior with a fan, I have decided that ive had enough. I am getting a quote this week on getting the entire window swapped to a solid glass.

Bought a new Jack

Oct%202%202015%20new%20jack_zps28rztvjt.jpg

Only downfall I found with that jack was the casters gave out after a year. But then again we use floor jacks constantly at work and most of the time not for its intended purpose.
