What did you do to your Gen3 today?

Well, after the storms passed, I went out to work on putting the swaybar bushings and endlinks in. I quickly realized that the endlinks that I bought weren't going to work, but I already had the swaybar off the truck, so I just left it completely off and took it for a test drive.

Surprisingly, the truck rides better without a swaybar and a lot of the harshness in the front end is gone.

I did notice that my driver's side ball joint is shot. I've got a pair of replacements here already, so I'll probably get them swapped out next weekend.

I can only imagine what the wiring looks like for all of those switches. That had to be a nightmare to keep straight and neat.

That's why it took me 6 hours. I straightened up my nest of wires under the hood and steering column. Also added an external 12 fuse block for everything. Now it's all labeled and organized. I have to tie wrap and conduit everything but otherwise it looks okay. Lol

My camshaft has been reground and is in its way. All the other parts are here so I should have my truck back on the road in a week or so.

Been daily driving the '85 which has no A/C.
