Based on a recent phone call I just made, how exactly were you able to get your DRL’s activated on your 2018 at the dealer because at first, I just figured the dealership yesterday was pulling my leg giving me the runaround saying they couldn’t do it but, I just got off the phone with OBD genie and even they said that they don’t have a product available for anything 2018 and even told me my dealership wasn’t lying about saying they were unable to turn the OEM DRL’s on so what gives?...lol. Maybe your dealer needs to call my dealer....[emoji41]

Soon it's been raining cats and dogs so first chance I get!!!You put them on your truck yet? If so what’s your impression so far ?
That's what I said after I upgraded last April with TYC replicas but **** happens. Those are nice and hopefully they would come in chrome but dang it I don’t wanna have to buy new headlights already!...lol.

If you open your oem projectors and swap out the stock amber led drl boards and put in the diode dynamics switchback boards, all you need to do is turn on your running lights or lowbeams and the white less come on. If you don't want the amber leds for your turn signal you can hook up the boards so the less are white all the time.No thank ya...lol. If I gotta meticulously and very, very carefully crack open a brand new set of headlights just to get the white LED’s in them, I’d just assume buy a brand new set of aftermarket lights that already has them installed. Besides- as of now, there’s no way to enable the DRL circuit that those white LED’s need to function correctly unless— they don’t even require the factory circuit in the first place.....[emoji848]

Hey on sale feel like taking on some Tyc magic lol.If you open your oem projectors and swap out the stock amber led drl boards and put in the diode dynamics switchback boards, all you need to do is turn on your running lights or lowbeams and the white less come on. Either way if you swap out your boards you don't need DRL's activated to have the white leds turn on.
Here is my TYC replicas that I customized. Diode dynamics switchback led drl boards, Diode Dynamics Switchback Halos and C-Bars, Klearz Smoked Corner Lenses and Klearz Smoked DRL Lenses plus I custom painted them.
Those tyc's will be up for sale tomorrow or Sunday on the classifieds in these forums.Hey on sale feel like taking on some Tyc magic lol.

My leds went to ****, and ur In PA so I'm always out there visiting fam may have u get creative with my current set up once the weather allows me to swap out. Those tyc's will be up for sale tomorrow or Sunday on the classifieds in these forums.
I'm building a new set once these sell. Dunno if I'm building a set of quads or tycs yet.
What do you mean, you want me to build you a set?
The halos, c-bars and the white drl leds are white while driving. All 3 turn orange when I put on my turn signal, the halos, cbars and drl strip are all orange during turn signal mode. They then go back to white after the turn signal turns off. That looks pretty good. Nice.
So your original amber turn signals are just plain white now that act as your DRL’s and those orange halos you added, those are your turn signals now?
That’s pretty neat and yeah it looks incredibly awesome but even though I’d love to try that, I’m just afraid I’d end up melting my lights or screwing something up and making it looked like a bruised ****, just my luck....lol. If I had more of a custom theme on my truck, I think that would be a little more incentive to try it but I think that’s a little bit outta my league. It sure does look cool tho. Helluva job, buddy.

That's what did my led's in......this winter sucked. The halos, c-bars and the white drl leds are white while driving. All 3 turn orange when I put on my turn signal, the halos, cbars and drl strip are all orange during turn signal mode. They then go back to white after the turn signal turns off.
I used a heat gun to open mine. Took awhile but worked perfectly and no melting or anything. I havnt had ANY condensation issues either. It was so much easier then I thought it was going to be.
