WIN Module

I know I need a new WIN Module in my 2012 1500. What I need to known is if I buy just the module with remote start will it work without that rest of the remote start set up? I want to get remote start eventually but need my truck back up and running asap and can't afford a full remote start kit yet.

Hi Jace,
I have heard of owners adding this but I cannot confirm. I believe that for sure the TIPM will need to be programmed with the RS sales code in order for it to work. This needs to be done by your dealer or using the Alpha OBD tool.
