All I can say is you won't be treated any better by Ford. I had to lemon my 2011 F150 Ecoboost. I went through the BBB for the lemon process with my lawyer. It made it to arbitration because Ford wanted to deny the lemon claim. They had my truck in for repairs 11 times and for over 45 days within the first 6 months of owning it. Transmission rebuilt at 1700 miles, rebuilt again at 2500 miles, torque converter and valve body in it at 3800 miles, reflash after reflash of the TCM ... and then the loss of power issues started creeping in at 5000 miles. The arbitrator wanted to see the vehicle and asked me to reproduce the issues for him. So, we took a ride. Neck breaking shifts, felt like being rear ended on down shifts, and then I punched it at a green light and the whole truck started shaking and went in to limp mode forcing me to pull over and shut it off. Ford lied during arbitration stating the issues were resolved, refused to service my truck any further for the issues during the 4 month lemon process. In the end Ford paid me $6500 and gave me a brand new truck. Which I kept for 6 months and then traded on my Ram. lol
So, don't think Ford, or even Chevy for that matter, will treat you any better. They don't have your best interested in mind when it effects their bottom line.
Good luck, though. And, once you get a lawyer involved they won't speak to you directly any further. All correspondence must be made through your attorney.
