on my 08, I have my tow mirrors, added a Laramie radio bezel, and I bought LED tails for it but decided I didn't like the look, so I took the stock afterburner tails apart, blacked out the insides for a OEM smoked look, let me know what you think

He painted the insides black. It looks good honestly! IMO its better than actually smoking the lens.

I get a lot of crap about the things I do until people see the outcome, haha, my plan is by next year all 3 of my trucks be ready to show something off...

Looks really good. But did you use an actual clear coat with a hardener or just rattle can clear that will never actually cure?

I use rattle can paint all the time for small stuff just because of the cost of actual paint. But I clear coat everything with legit urethane paint & hardener. Something about the fact that you can squeeze something with rattle can clear a month after you paint it & leave a fingerprint drives my OCD bat**** crazy. lol

Ordered driver side rocker panel. We'll be cutting bad section out of that and welding in new spot. As well as fixing some other spots that off to paint.

I put the $31.00 Ebay driver mirror on today. It's coming off as soon as I can find a real one! Looks good until you start moving then the mirror part jitters. Lesson learned.

I have a problem getting the exhaust sound to the same after recording, it always sounds diff on the puter.

Obviously I'm a fan. I loved the movie and when Ford announced that they were going to sell a Bullitt Edition Mustang in 2001, I had to have one. They actually spent a ton of time and money to redo the exhaust to make it sound like the car from the movie.

Of course, the exhaust was the first thing that I replaced, it just wasn't loud enough but the tone on them is perfect and they matched it up pretty well.

I took my ram on the highway and it's the first thing I thought of (bullitt exhaust note) just getting up to speed.....by far the best upgrade I've done to date!!

Here's what mine sounded like before I decided to tear it down a couple years ago which was a big mistake. I haven't driven it since and it's in pieces waiting for me to get motivated to get the cage put in it. This was during my quest to have the fastest bone stock engine'd 2V Mustang on earth. I ended up capping out at 12.25@110mph on a bone stock engine with no power adder. Stock from oil pan to throttle body. I was told not to come back to the track until I had a cage installed after that.

I'm only in the first few races and in the last one, I missed the 1-2 shift somehow. Mine is the green car on the chrome Telstars with no passenger's side headlight. The blue one is a friend of mine and believe it or not, his made about 40 more horsepower to the rear wheels than mine. I was only running 256hp to the rear wheels at this point.

Maybe those people shouldn't be so quick to judge.

As for me I respect 99% of how people mod their cars and trucks. It gives you an insight as to what they like.

I would love to replace the rear bumper on my truck, but the 4th Gen is going to get some T.L.C. tomorrow and I would really like to make some steady money with the 3rd Gen before putting more money into it. But I do have to admit that the itch to make upgrades is getting harder to ignore.

Went to Canadian tire & bought a mig on sale.

The welder comes with accessories & since its a kit - it has doubles & upgrades.
