Thanks Doc, Casey seems to be a stand up guy here and he told me the same thing that when he sold them to me that he did not realize the 5500 seats did not have airbags. I did buy them awhile back, the reason it took me so long to install them was I was trying to find a Laramie jump seat as I cannot use the hard console with my floor mounted t case shifter. I finally reupholstered mine with Katzkin covers.

Casey promised to make it right, so I will see

Well to be honest the pictures you posted are nicer than what showed up yesterday. I refused the shipment and called them this morning and they "said" they would refund my card when they get them back. The guy on the phone was very apologetic and was the guy I dealt with when I bought them. He said he had no idea and understood they were "A" grade, well if I was grading them I would give them an "F" and that would be being generous. So based on what I got and what Cuyler posted stay far far far away from this outfit!!!!

Used my aftermarket remote start this morning. It was 26 degrees. When I hopped in my truck I was surprised to see that the drivers seat and the wheel were on. I didn't expect it with an aftermarket starter. Another win!

The truck automatically turns them on under 40 degrees rather you remote start or not.

Ordered my clock spring today. Be good to get this part out of the way & my new wheel installed. At least my audio controls should work right? Then I just need to find some seats so I can get the heated wheel working. I have the buttons for it all from my center console swap.

I need to look into the AE tool to put codes in. Talked to my local dealership about adding codes & the guy had no idea what I was talking about. After getting the same dumb look for his manager I decided not to bother LOL!

excuse my ignorance but what is the PDC?

Its ok the term took me a few looks as well, as that the same as parking distance control for BMW's so it threw me a bit because I didn't understand the relationship of parking sensors and cooled seats.

They cannot add most if the codes you may want but we have had two members add the heated seats and wheel and have the Mopar Accessory Seat Heater code flashed and both trucks seem to work great. This is a code that you can have installed in your truck if you buy the Mopar seat heater kit to install into your truck .They have the icons for the heated seats show up on your screen but no icon for the heated steering wheel. The heated steering wheel does work but they have to use the push button on the dash. It may be an option for you until you can get a hold of a AE tool. I live in Northern California. Oregon is a pretty good drive but if you're ever down this way PM me and I will add the codes for you.

A little quirk came up this morning. Heated seats and wheel come on when truck is started, heated wheel goes off after a few seconds. When I turn it back on, it stays on. Not a huge deal, but figured I would mention so we can keep track.

I do make a trip to CA every now & then. May be soon for unfortunate family circumstances. I'd love to get some things added code wise. Are the codes to get it added to the radio? Seems like some guys are having it work with the buttons. Just not able to have the soft keys on the radio. At this point I think seats are way down the road for me. I just can't bring myself to fork out 2k plus. I'll keep my eye's open for a deal. Could get the cloth seats with heaters out of a bighorn. Just figure if I am going through the trouble to get them working. I may as well get the leather with the cooling as well

I would enable the codes for the seats and wheel to have them show up on the screen plus enable them in ECU memory #5. They would just be there when you finally do install the seats. Not sure what you have as far as other options go but if you have the RA3/RA4 upgrade we can add the auto dim mirror ect. We can also enable the fogs to be on with high beam if you want.

I haven't done the ra4 upgrade yet. I did just buy the drivers seat & rear seat from a wrecked truck. Passenger seat was toast unfortunately but getting those shipped to me for $600. Will the drivers seat give me what I need to make the heated wheel option work? I know I have wiring to deal with as well to make it work.
