I can't believe he even deleted his posts. Although that didn't get rid of the quotes from the other posts that show what he said. It is too bad he did this just to make a few bucks.
@mpgenaw 's posts may have been deleted by a moderator since he spammed that post across several threads and could not outright do so in the for sale section due to the 50 post limit.
Looks like his account is still active, just hadn't signed on since 6/16. A Paypal account email usually works as a regular email to get in touch also.

So I took my truck over to Rick's house and after plugging his laptop into my 2015 Tradesmen something nice happened. 75c31ae8a095e19c0b30f9e20ec684c4.jpg3ee56d6ca5cb59686de9a3b9de98f296.jpgaf35ff79639df0e0f5da9938d31906ac.jpg
I have to go for a drive tonight and check it out but so far everything looks right. I'm very grateful to Rick and all of his help.

Glad it all worked. Now I know for sure it's not the software version of my AE tool that seems to be the problem with not being able to add the Auto High Beam code to my 14. I was able to add the code to my Nephews 13. When I plugged into eco's 15 the tool showed both of the extra options needed to activate the 15 that for some reason are disabled on the 14.

I made some progress on activating the auto high beams in my 2015 Ram 2500. There ended up being 6 settings to activate it. I still have a little bit of testing to verify I have everything working correctly, but here is what I have done so far:

Change the following settings:

Vehicle Config 1:
Auto High Beam - Set

Vehicle Config 3:
Auto Headlight Feature - Set

Veh Config CSM1:
Auto High Beam - Set

ECU Config 8: LIN and Misc.:
ASBM Present: Set

ECU Config 13: 2014 CDC I / O And Features:
Auto High Beam Location - ECC_AHBM

**[Need to go back and find the location of the final setting]**:
ECC_AHBM Present - Set

With all of the above changes, the feature appears to be activated. When I push the light stalk forward I get the "Auto High Beams Enabled" message. With that said, It was still partially light out when I was testing it. I had to cover the sensor on the dash to get the auto headlights to come on. While testing, the headlights were on, but I did not get the blue bright indicator on the cluster. I am wondering if this is because it wasn't completely dark out and the camera on the back of the mirror was picking up the light?

I will try to do some more testing this weekend.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Need to add this over in my mirror thread:
DIY: 2013-2016 RearView Mirror Upgrade & Harness install

Finally installed the AutoDim Mirror with Auto High Beam Sensor yesterday on my 2013 Truck with the AE tool.
- 911/AutoDim w/AutoHighBeam Mirror: - 68096094AA (Req's Sales Code)
. . . . (AutoDim w/AutoHighBeam Covers: Upper - 1ZA39DX9AA & Lower - 1YW14DX9AC )

Only had 3 settings on mine luckily that I enabled in the following order ...

2013 Ram 1500 SLT CC:

Vehicle Config 3:
Interior EC Mirror Present- Set
(Enabled the AutoDim / Electro Chromatic)

Vehicle Config 1:
Auto High Beam - Set
(Enabled AHB hw)

ECU Config 8: LIN and Misc.:
Smart Beam Present (AHBM): Set
(Enabled feature?)

--------------------------------------------------

Really hope that we can find the magic sauce to get this working on the 2014 Trucks like Rick's.
.

Looks nice! I enabled the same three options in my 14 with no luck. The option for the Auto High Beam doesn't even come up on the settings menu of my radio display even though it shows that the code is set. So far it seems the 13 is the only one that can be activated by the three codes.

@Ngiovas do you remember where the last setting "ECC_AHBM Present - Set" is located? Did not work last night and that is the only code not flagged yet

What part number are you guys using for the auto dimming mirror , with uconnect and auto high beam .
I found this part number not sure if it is correct ?
68096094AF

I have a 2016 ram 1500 slt .
Trying to find the Canadian one as well that doesn't have the 911 and assist button as these features won't work in my truck and want to keep it looking like stock for a Canadian truck .

Thanks for any help in advance .
Cheers

Guys, I'd like to pickup a rearview mirror with autodim and smart beam, but not Uconnect. I already have the microphones in my truck because it came with Uconnect and would rather not add additional microphones on a mirror. Would any of you guys know if this mirror that shows it's for the 3500 work on a '17 1500? P/N: 68295863AA

Also, would a mirror from a Jeep or Dodge car or SUV work?

One more thing... Anyone around PA(Chambersburg)/MD(Hagerstown)/WV(Martinsburg) areas have the Autoenginuity and wouldn't mind helping me out adding some codes? I plan to buy one in the near future, just not quite ready yet.

I'm not 100% sure about that pn (looks right on Quirk parts' site), but if it fits one ram model of a particular year, it should be ok for other models within the same year. The only difference in 2017 (vs 13-16) as you have discovered is the lack of mics in the mirror. I would think you are fine.

Stay away from other FCA brands of mirrors if you can't verify its the same pn as in a Ram. Connectors can sometimes be different.

Post a picture of it if you order one.

I found a 68096094AF and bought it. Hopefully I'll have it by the end of next week, but it might be a bit before I find someone local to add the sales codes or buy the autenbinuity myself to add them.

Be careful with the AE tool if you buy one. They work great for some things but they will corrupt your BCM if you try to change certain codes. Should be fine enabling the auto dim mirror code. That doesn't seem to cause any issues. Avoid setting the factory alarm and avoid setting the single zone ATC codes. Myself and others have learned the hard way lol!

The ATC codes is one of the things I want to do. Power fold mirrors with puddle lights, autodim, auto high beam mirrors and ATC are the things I want to add. I figured that it would be about the same price buying the AE since I wanted to add so many codes.

I wasn't able to add the mirror power fold, puddle, or signal light codes with the AE tool on my truck (13 ram)... Gotta go OBDgenie for that one.
AutoDim and Auto High Beam (SmartBeam) can be done, Dual Zone ATC appears to be safe, but Single Zone ATC will mess up the truck branding (ie Ram changes to chrysler) and any attempts to change it back with the AE tool royally screws up the truck, as in tow to dealer (ie left hand drive to right hand drive, etc).

Edit: FYI, think that 68096094AF mirror will have the mics on it based on an eBay picture.

As stated the AE tool does not seem to work on the blinker lights, puddle lights or power fold codes. The dealer can add the LEB and LEC blinker and puddle light codes but they cannot add the LER power fold mirror code. The only option is to buy a Genie as stated if you want the power fold option. Also the AE tool will activate your auto dim rearview mirror but I was not able to get it to work for my auto dim side mirrors. If you get the OBD Genie that activates the auto dim rearview mirror it will also set the codes for the auto dim side mirrors if you end up adding them in the future. The AE tool worked well for my auto dim rearview mirror, heated seats, ventilated seats and heated steering wheel. I was able to remove my fog light dropout to enable high beams with fog lights. I was not able to activate the Auto High Beam function on my 2014 or my friends 2015 with the AE tool . I was able to activate the auto high-beam function on my nephew's 2013 truck though and it works fine.

Rick....any chance you have enabled the optional factory cargo bed LED's that are located in the rear corners of the bed? I have a '17 and added them. While a very simple addition from an installation perspective, I need to enable them with the AE.

No I haven't. My truck is a 2014 so that option isn't even in my BCM. I'm pretty sure the dealer can add that code though.
