I like the bench seat, it fits my wife, myself and my daughter. Regular cab. Like the convenience of the armrest, and the extra seat.

I love the bucket seats. The only advantage i see of a bench seat is one more passenger. Then again i have never owned one.

when you have a family the extra seat is priceless incase you have to take a friend or one of your kids friends...when we just bought my ram the one thing we had to have was a bench

Definately for the console!!! I like the "cockpit" type feel. Which is why I should have test driven more models in the ram lineup bc I got one with a jump seat, that I'm currently looking to swap (shameless plug). My wife likes the open feel with a jump seat but even she to has stated, after we rode in some friends rams, that she likes the console better now. All of this is irrelevant since its your truck brother!

I have never actively bought a beach seat car and will never do. I'm a bucket seat guy!

I have one of each. The seats are the same in both. Only difference is bolting in a middle seat or a centre console. The middle seat has storage under the seat as well as under the fold up console. It's an extra seat when you want one and the upper console has a bit more space in the jump seat style. Console doesn't really have much upside to me, but on my new one I didn't have the option so I have it. It has a better place to put your phone and most people seem to prefer the look and feel in the drivers seat. Me I'd go jump seat, but your truck your choice. Lots of guys with different opinions. There's even a thread for guys trading consoles and jumpseats between themselves.

So the drivers seat is exactly the same, no?? I can’t imagine they each have a different drivers seat feel right? Both are “bucket” no? The drivers seat isn’t attached to the middle seat

I bought mine used and it came with a console. It was the best price per year/mileage, it had a cap which I need, and crew cab for kids. I would rather have the middle seat, but I couldn't pass up the deal and saved $2K because I didn't have to buy a cap.

Drivers seat isn't attached to the middle seat and drivers and passenger seats are the same. Just different feel because you're more closed in cockpit style.

Bench all the way. The armrest is nice, tho the latch rattles. I like the extra storage, and the 3rd seat can come in handy. The biggest benefit, tho, is when we drive the 1k road trip to see parents. I have a soft cooler that fits perfectly between the middle seat and the dash. Holds a couple sandwiches and snacks along with munchies and a pair of beverages. With the center console all that stuff would be in the back and difficult for my wife to reach!
Best,
DG

Bench is not available on upper trims so it was not even a consideration.

I meant the upper trims as in Longhorn & Limited.

At least you can still get a jump seat in the lowly laramie lol. My laramie has the jump seat, but my limited I couldn't get it. I'll miss it when I sell my laramie.
