There was a 50% off deal yesterday on this light bar, so I picked one up. Problem is, now I'm not sure where I should put it? (my truck image courtesy of @S0CAL ). 570mm = 22.5"

I never bought, or did anything to my truck without a plan ... If it wasn't part of the plan, I didn't do it ... Cuz most likely it wasn't gonna look right ... JMO

okay, now it's just bugging me, I can't find another ram with the shark fin their. What gives?
You could do a Bull Bar and mount it to that. Otherwise, in order for the light to work out, you may need a Raptor-like grill or 2 smaller lights, each on the side of the cross-hair?I was thinking behind the grill (was my plan when I clicked buy). I'm not really looking for a crap ton of light, I really bought it more for the fun effects, so behind the grill still lets me light it up and have fun. Just thought I'd see if anyone might have other ideas. They also make a smaller "work light", which I might get to go in my tow hook blanks some time.

LOL I would get yourself an Ebay unit and wait for coupons. Also check Craigs. I think I have seen a few here in hill country. That looks slick! Do they have those 1/2 off as well?
I just quickly searched through cars.com and I found a few others with it. All the trucks with the fin in front that I saw were Big Horns (as is mine). Not sure why they would only do that on the BH, but... ?

Per @JB1, here is where I put mine:Do it behind the grille, there’s a bar/brace that runs left to right that it would fit perfectly on
Yeah, but then he has to change the grill. Assuming he does not foresee a grill swap in his future, I think the bull bar is the best option.Per @JB1, here is where I put mine:

For what it's worth, my 17 Lonestar has the shark fin in the front too. Haven't been able to figure out a rhyme or reason to the location, other than if you have a sunroof it will be in the back.

I don't disagree it will fit, but how much light output will be lost going through that factory grill?Lights fit back there just fine with the normal grille

I read in another thread that the shark fin is in front on trucks assembled in Mexico. I believe the Vin starts with a '3'. Shark fins in the back were assembled in Michigan and have a vin starting with a '1'.
