FWIW I researched for a while and settled on the SST. I got it for less than $500 and it was best bang for the buck. The kit is sitting in the garage waiting for time to install it. I want the looks, stock ride and room for tires. Let me rephrase.....my wife wants the look and room for tires and I want the stock ride. She thinks it looks a bit too granpa-ish as is. I'm by no means an off roader and don't really want to take my $50k Cadillac on anything more complex than a dirt trail. I bought this thing for comfort, mpg's, pulling the boat and to be able to haul something if I need to. I have a 1st gen Tacoma to beat up in the mud and parts are cheap for that little thing.

This is exactly in line with my ideaology behind my post. You're the target customer for the SST. The hardest thing I have with people is having them be honest with the true use they intend for the vehicle. The sst will treat you well and look good doin it!

Great advice @hodge-xj! That’s kind of what I was thinking as well. So with all that being said, do you think it would be necessary to add new UCAs with the Eibach kit at 3.5? If so, which ones would you recommend? I know it definitely wouldn’t hurt to have them, but that’s also another $400-500 depending on the UCA. Also, I know Eibach states the rear coils lift the rear 1 inch, but of the few people that are running this kit, it seems like they are actually getting 1.5 inches of lift. Would a rear spacer be needed to remain level or to have maybe a 1/4-1/2” of rake?

These ready lift arms look pretty nice actually. There's a thread about Falcon shocks posted recently and the guy is running the ready lift arms and he has a bunch of pictures of them, they look good. I'm looking into getting a set as well, great bang for buck through nick@gotexhaust. You can surely get away with oem arms for the time being and upgrade, just be mindful of the upper bjs just in case and be ready for a less than stellar alignment. Arms would be ideal, but you can get by without for a bit.

Honestly I'd see how it looks and how everything settles without spacers and than adjust if needed after. I added 1/2" spacer to level my truck side to side once I lifted it. They're easy enough to install at a later time. 1.5 lift in the rear should retain s decent rake, even if you bump to 3.5" front. But that's all kinds dependant on how your setup settles after you drive it for a bit.

Basically my situation also. Mine is a 2011 that has been lightly used with only 48000 miles on it. It's time to refresh this thing and I have the itch to do it. Sort of a rebonding diggin into the mechanix.

Dang where did you find it for that price?

Had it in my cart at Amazon forever and one day I got a pop up on my phone that it had dropped to like $492. I pulled the trigger and the next day it was back up over $600. Not sure if it was a mistake or what but I got a good deal.

When you are done please post up pictures your half shaft angles.

I didn’t see anything in the kit for the rear shock, won’t you loose travel with the factory rear shock?

Ok so long story short, I wouldn't believe it if I didn't actually take these measurements myself.

I met up with a local member from Rebel Forum for a full size trail run today. Now I never put 2 and 2 together but rebels with sir suspension run st these extended heights all the time. After we got to talking, I noticed how much higher his truck sat so I started asking some questions, with the air suspension, they use a daystar spacer above the air springs, use adjustable links to adjust ride height to about 2.5-2.75 level up front. Once in offroad mode the truck raises itself about 1-1.5 extra inches. I took measurements of my truck and his....low and behold it say 1.5 higher than my 6112s set to 2.5 lift.

I still stand by my opinion on using caution as always, but I watched this guy beat his rig all day long, at 4" on stock arms.....i wouldn't believe it if I hadn't seen it myself

Although he had air suspension, that is interesting to see just how well these stock arms can take being stretched. I'm still wrestling with which route to take. I did find this video(s) of a guy that has the 4" Readylift kit and it looks pretty damn good.
I can get that Readylift kit for a damn good price through a connection at work, and the fact that I can throw a set of bils in the front for $200 or less makes that kit pretty tempting.

I just like having new shocks/struts and coils with the Eibach kit. Man I wish there were more reviews on these kits and how they handled!

That's my point, it never clicked that those guys stretch these components out as much as they do. The way they adjust the links in conjunction with the spacers fools the computer to keep the "normal" mode at the lifted height. So when in offroad mode it still adds the 1-2" extra height on the already lifted setup.

If I were you I'd still go for the eibach, I just like the kit, and you can still run it at 3.5" up front.

Given what we know now about how much the stock arms can handle, or even with the Readylift UCA, would it be possible to put a .5” or .75” spacer on top of the Eibach coils/struts to get a true 4 inch lift up front? I don’t know that I would actually do that, just curious as to if it’s possible and how the ride might be.

I'm sure you could, same concept as the level spacer, just smaller. It shouldn't change ride being that it's so small. But is a 1/2" spacer really worth the nit pick. Fwiw I have the 6112s maxed out under my ecodiesel and comparing numbers to others, I'm closer to 2.75-3" lift and I use my rig hard. I finally tore my bj boots on both arms but have no issues otherwise, so in reality 4" over stock isn't much more of a stretch.

Here is the 1/2" top spacer
https://www.amazon.com/WULF-Driver-Spacer-2006-2018-Suspension/dp/B07JVJC32J
Now get the eibach 2.75" springs and put Eibach or Bistein at the 2nd clip and voila, assuming the springs with 2nd clip will actually lift 3.5, plus an extra 0.5" from the top.
I would not do this myself but what the heck there are a lot of ginea pigs more than happy to test it, so test something that perhaps is a little safer lol

Here's mine with the ready lift 4" SST with 35s. Have a lot more plans for it. Great ride quality and makes it look like a whole new truck

Here is my Readylift SST on 35’s with the stock Sport rims. I had it installed in July and have only about 4500 miles on the lift and I just had one of the upper ball joints on the new control arms fail. Not sure what the cause was, but Readylift sent the new one (actually sent two so had both replaced) under warranty.... My truck is pretty much a pavement princess and I don’t drive it much, but other than the bad ball joint, the kit has been good. The ride is pretty good too. I just installed the TimberGrove air bags in the back for towing so I removed the bump stop extenders which are really good quality billet..... No complaints for the lift...
