Yes it is my passenger side, only aftermarket lights are the morimoto lights. Mine blinked a few times as well and then turned off. If I have the driver side on too long it turns off too and then I'm left in the dark. Sad thing is hitting the brake my brake lights are much brighter than my reverse lights when they do work

Ugh sounds like a resistor issue with our lights. Something they should be working on fixing. Def not acceptable for 500$ lights.

I was having the same issue with my passenger side tail light originally. The reverse light would turn off approximately 3 or 4 times for a few seconds at a time within a minute. I was also experiencing issues with my sequential turn signals not working properly before I realized that I forgot to install the fuse tap. For some reason, since I put that in, my reverse light issue has gone away. I'm definitely not smart enough to explain why it worked but it did!

Also, the reverse light connector that plugs into the factory harness was not seating properly and would not lock in. So I cut the connectors off (just passenger side) and crimped my own connectors on. So I can't say which one fixed the issue but thats just my two cents. I wouldn't recommend doing that in fear of voiding the warranty on them but I was not happy with how it was seating and I was too impatient to send them back lol

Actually you can go ahead and disregard my comment...yesterday the reverse light was functioning perfectly and reading this thread made me curious again so I just went outside and filmed a two minute video and now the issue is back. The light came on for about three seconds total and was off for the remainder of the time. ugh. Will be calling TRS tomorrow to see what they can do.

So I got my XBs Friday and tried to install them today. Morimoto's install instructions match nothing on my 2011 1500. I have dual lights that are not projectors. XB connectors do not patch mine, I don't think. By the time I thought I figured it out I found that the DRL cable they sent is too small. The instructions say to plug the cable in to port F66 in my fuse box. Well, my fuse box doesn't even have a port that begins with F and nothing with a 66 in it. I did find M3 empty and it was labeled for DRL among other options BUT. . .the plug doesn't fit.DRL Cable.jpgFuse Box Legend.jpg

The supplied fuse tap is for 2013+ trucks that use micro 2 fuses. The 09-12 trucks use mini fuses and the fuse box has a different layout. You would need to convert to this tap- https://www.amazon.com/Uriveusa-Cir...557105624&s=gateway&sprefix=mini+fuse&sr=8-12

If you DO NOT have heated seats and steering wheel, you can tap into M8. Otherwise, tap into M36, which is the power outlet (so long as you’re not using for anything that draws a lot of power).

The quad harness *should* work with your truck’s connectors. The only thing that won’t work, since you have duals, is the low beams won’t stay on when you switch your high beams on.

Hey everyone I just thought I would post back with an update on my problems.

I one of the unlucky souls with a Canadian Quad Truck with the factory DRLs set to the highbeam bulb.

Anyways. All previous problems have been sorted out.

My solution was to buy an OBDlinkMX+, and AlphaOBD to set my DRLs as a selectable option in the UConnect interface. Once I disabled my DRL all the misbahaviors of the Morimotos resolved.

I will note that my truck is a 2018 so I required the security module bypass cable which was ridiculously easy to install. Big thank you to Deereguy on the forums here.

Next on the list is to aim these things properly. The drivers side is aimed way low and tilted significantly but I didnt want to bother until I got my issues sort out first.

I am using the supplied fuse tap for the DRL.

They are super bright!

And the LED projectors are a huge improvement over the stock halogens.

Does anyone happen to know which wire is the DRL dimmer trigger wire on the Morimotos?

I'd like to change the behaviour of the dimming function so the DRLs only dim when the headlights are on, but NOT dim when I switch on the parking lights.

The instructions dont account for Canadian trucks with quads. You're going to have to have your DRLs disabled.

So just an update on the tail light reverse issue. I emailed a video to the warranty department showing what the issue is. Whoever I spoke with said there is ONE guy dealing with all warranty issues with both the headlights and the tails. God bless his soul lol. I will report back when I receive a response.

Who else is experiencing this issue with their passenger side reverse light??

Checked with Jermey last week, Trs has not released any for shipment to them, still looking at sometime around the 15th. Sounds like Trs is testing their tails out. Good luck all of ya
