My adventure with the turn signals on the back was successful and thanks a lot for help but we are still trying to set the lamps in the front - after the remote start of the car we do not light the left position light and the right one works and the same when the low beam lights up the right position lamp works a left not - but when I switch to only the position switch, both lights - left and right - are lit - where to look for parameter changes? anyone have an idea?

I got my 7" EVIC in today and my OBDLink in the mail as well. Using AlfaOBD I was able to update the Idle and Total engine hours without any issues.

My problem lies with the odometer reading. I would be ok with a couple of tenths off, but I am missing a lot.

I need it to read 162000.7, but it is only changing to 26071. Any ideas?

A little walk through of how to program FOBIKs

First turn you truck on to accessory.(I always do this to connect to the RF Hub)


Select Radio frequency hub(RFH)
In the drop down select Radio frequency hub(this is the only option to select here)


Connect to the RF Hub


Once you’re connected. Locate the Car with the hood up on the bottom right hand corner. Click on it


Click on the drop down menu. Almost all the way at the bottom select - Program Ignition FOBIKs Baseline system

At this point turn your key to the Lock Position(turn the truck off) and remove the key from the ignition


Place the FOBIK(Key) you’re wanting to program in the ignition and leave it in the off position

Enter you 4 digit pin provided by your local dealership


Click Start. Your screen should look something like this!


Once the process is complete you will see Procesure complete in blue. Please note the above dialogue box will say “FOBIK successfully paired” I think lol

If a key is already Paired to your truck. You will get the Failure error. “Failure FOBIK already learned”

Now start you truck up to make sure it was successfully paired!

New update. Following the steps to update my odometer, when the process is "completed" the odometer is wrong (no change to the number) but it is adjusting my oil life. If I reset it to read 100%, after the most recent odometer attempt it dropped to 27% oil life.

Still tinkering.

There are two codes to turn on the vented seats. One is in Ecu config#3 Front vented seats present and the other is in Memory front vented seats present. One thing to note is the vented seats will not work unless you have the 8.4" radio. These are the pictures of the settings in the Alfa tool.

Hi guys, i need some help.

I removed old hood latch, intalled new latch with plug, selected vehconfig1 remote start present, CBC IO hood adjar switch present, CBC IO hood adjar switch usage paralell resister at 1k parallel resister, reset the rf hub, waited 30 min. Then i pressed the remote start button and horn honked, doors locked and nothing sisplayed on the dash. I then drove the truck 30 miles and pressed the button again and the same thing happened. So i went back in changed my CBC io hood adjar switch usage to 500ohm but did not update the rf hub and now it honks, doors lock, i hear the electronics activating like its going to start but then it displays message on dash display "remote start cancelled hood open.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Did your truck already have the plug for the latch?

Verify that pin 11 in the c1 connector is populated

As 1500ram12 stated just because you have the hood latch harness it doesn't mean it's connected to the BCM. The hood latch connector is almost always present but in many cases it's just part of the harness that doesn't go anywhere depending on your trim level and options. As he suggested check and see if pin#11 is populated in your BCM. It most likely isn't.

I tried to update the mileage by only turning the key to ACC as well as ON. Disconnected and reconnected the battery. Multiple attempts and still no luck. The hours have updated properly.

Any random tricks anyone has tried?

When I entered the km value that I needed, which today is 162054.9 the odometer initially changed to 26071.

Thinking that I am running out of things to try, I decided to try and set the odometer to 26071, and finally, I got it to change values. It jumped to 41958, so followed the trail and attempted to set it to that number and it changed to 67525. Again entered that value and it jumped to 108671. I can't seem to find that pattern and this is where my changes stopped. No matter the value I enter the odometer is constantly showing 108671.

Still tinkering, and hoping someone else has seen something like this before.
