Is there any way to disable the option on the EVIC that displays "Press [emoji3504] for km/h"?

So with it set to miles, enter the value in miles. If your desired reading in Kilometers is 162000.7 km enter in 100662.6 miles

I tried entering the miles value. The issue is that no matter what I type into Alfa the odometer stays at 0. I have tried entering both the miles and km values into the cluster but it won't change.

New AlfaOBD 2.1.7.8 update available today.
Couple things off the bat I notice- can now get the dedicated bed light switch activated, 2019-2020 rams but the list is still missing some things. Display screen module now shows up so we don’t have to use the windows version in advanced mode. Was hoping he’d put the central vision process module in the list of radio modules, but no go.

Waiting for this to come to the Amazon store so I can give my odometer correction another try.
I guess I may be misunderstanding then. I thought you were able to get it to change?

Question - we had a small radio and installed a large 8.4 "uConnect radio - almost everything works - the temperature setting does not work - we only have LO or HI - where to look for something that will cause the correct temperature settings? Do you need to change something in the options that is large radio?

If it is one of the newer 4C radios you need to give it some time to settle in. It can take hours and several on off cycles for everything to display correctly.

For the guys who changed fuel tank size from 26 gallon to 32 gallon in the alfaobd app did you use 32 gallons or 121 liters?

I am able to get many things on the cluster: the idle and total engine hours, I can swap it from metic to US versions, but I cannot get the odometer to change to the value that I want.

It will not take the needed value and is currently set to 0.

Did you set it to zero?

I did. I can change the odometer to 0, 26071, 41958, 67525, 15887, 25567, 41146, 66218, and the km equivalent.

When I first tried to update the mileage it set itself to 26071 which was not what I entered. After days of it not changing to any value that I put in the truck I decided to see what you happen if I set it to 26071 intentionally and it jumped to 41958, as so on and so on.

Then after getting nowhere, I tried setting it to 0 to see if it would work as a reset. It did not work. It is currently still on 0 as I try and get it to move to 100910 miles.

Have you tried with the new version that was released yesterday?
Also, in the first post of this thread, there is a link to earlier versions. You could try the version that has a note next to it that says “mileage correction added”.

I have tried the new versions, both android and windows, with no luck.

It goes through the process, my cluster flashes "continental" then the app says procedure completed, but nothing changes. The odometer stays at 0.

What happens when you put in 100910?

Multiple at one click and at two clicks.

I appreciate you following along with this.
Ok, so it stopped changing mileage for you once you set it to zero right? So, I wonder what would happen if you drive it and let 1 mile rollover? Then try to program it again, maybe it's hung up?

Just keep track of things manually so you can program an accurate odometer reading. You can watch the trip meter to see if it's tracking mileage properly on your short drive.
