The wife and I took a little trip yesterday (12 hour round trip) to pick her up a project truck (yes she like working on truck's, mainly older truck's). Hopefully will pick my project truck up next weekend. Definitely need a bigger trailer.

Picked up a 1987 Chevy k20 with a plow.

Same side steps I have. I like them after a year or so. There are a couple very small spots that the paint has chipped off so be careful if powerspraying.

Are those the FireStones? Mine wouldn't even go out the semi-grassy driveway (live on in country) without spinning.

That’s nice, I love the old squarebody trucks.

Sitting at an intersection waiting on the light, looked over at the turn lane and noticed these two trucks and had to take a pic. Kinda odd seeing not only both being red, but both being quad cab with chrome bumpers.....what’s the odds of that happening?

So do I. I've been tossing around the idea of throwing a 12v in 1. I'd love to find a military m1008 1 ton square body

Went and explored Mammoth for the weekend. 4 days isn’t nearly enough time up there. Camped out in Lone Pine on the way back and what a windy night 55 mph gusts, damn glad the rtt is bolted to the truck. But man I thought the rain fly was going to rip off.

Pardon my ignorance... I don’t understand the U.S lol. With a population of 330 million how is there still empty land? Lol. Are places like that busy? I looked it up on google maps and it’s fairly close to LA and figure places like that would be packed with campers.

In Canada we have a lot of land and even for
Me I’d have to drive pretty far north for me to not see anybody else in the Bush. Those pics you posted are beautiful and I’m baffled it’s not packed with people camping and off-roading. Around here it’s pretty much impossible to avoid running into people no matter how remote you think you are.

Aside from politics I think California is probably one of the coolest states. Has so many different climates in one state [emoji2369]. From one of the hottest places on earth to the beaches and mountains.

Scotty throwing more smoke!

Scotty's about that smoke.

Have such a love-hate with him just because 90% of the stuff he complains about (especially with Dodge/Ram) come down to people just not taking care of their vehicles properly.

Totally would bet that that thing was run with 87 over the life of its ~160k miles.

Appears to be in decent shape, would enjoy his opinion with the top end off on the design flaw! He’ll either copy another opinion or come up with something out of left field!

Haven't been much with it at all. Mostly sitting, but it's still pretty clean, except for all the pollen on it. lol
I was going to rinse it off, but the pollen is flying around in the air.

I did take the truck to do some shopping this morning and tomorrow, I take her to work. Hopefully work picks up. It seems like it was last week when I worked on Tuesday. The workload was larger and the order sizes were larger. So it seems we're going in the right direction. :happy107:

@1500ram12 - Boy did you bring back some memories. The first pick up I ever drove was a 1985 Custom Delux 4x4 and it had a plow attachment. Good Luck With The Project!

My gal and I yesterday pick up a new desk chair for her and dropped off some toys to a friend of her's house.

And today so people don't get all upset with me I drove it to work. :sleepy:
