Can’t wait for premium to be $5 a gallon and we start paying a gas guzzler tax on our v8s soon.

There, I had to say it
I'll be happy if it's only $5.
I'm thinking they'll try for $10 and offer 'incentives' to dump your gas-powered anything for an electric piece of crap.
Maybe a $10,000/year 'usage' fee for destroying the planet?
Enjoy your Rams while we still have them!

If I wanted a hot rod truck, I would trade for a single cab Tradesman with a 3.6L V6. Then I would do a RIPP super charger kit. 450HP at the wheels plus 30 MPG hwy. The 3.6L Pentastar engine is extremely reliable with proper maintenance.
Here is a tear down video of a 3.6L that fail at over 600K miles. Why did it fail? Timing chain maintenance neglected. Engine has 4 chains in it. Engine seemed to be in great shape other than chain related failure.

I think you should double check you're rear wheel numbers. The 3.6 is rated at i think 305 or 310 at the crank,so to get it to 450 at the tires with just a blower is a bit of a stretch on a street motor. I'm not overly familiar with the little 3.6,but if it has a crank rating of 310 ,that should put it at maybe 250 at the most at the tires, and a 200hp gain at the tires on a small 3.6 is more then i'd believe. It's even a stretch to believe 450 at the crank, RIPP must have one hell'va happy dyno, lol

I wonder how many brain dead people are going to wrap themselves around trees and light poles ? I live in Central Michigan and worked in our EMS and can not tell you how many people have killed themselves with the corvettes and other way too powerful vehicles including snowmobiles .

Here ya go:

It is a full kit. Supercharger, intercooler, injectors, tuner, etc, etc.

Guys running 3.6L V6 with RIPP superchargers are eating V8 cars/truck alive at drag strips around the country.

Lots of stuff on youtube.

Yea i've never believed RIPP's claims yet, still don't. They've had a rep of inflating their dyno numbers for years. FYI,a good dyno operator can make dyno numbers look very impressive, but when it hits a track the timeslips don't back up the numbers. I highly doubt a boosted 3.6 is eating bolt on/tuned Hemi's.Post some timeslips to back up your claims,as with out anything to back up your claims,it's a moot point
