And if its helpful, it looks like the module itself is part 68092732AF

(the 822... numbers are the whole kit)
Is that module number for the model year of the OP? That would most likely change depending on the year just like the whole kit.

I just got my module and am buying the wiring for it. Both of these plugs go to the module correct?

And it looks like they gave me the wrong part number, it appears they gave me the number for a 2016 model. Thanks for all your help!

Bummer!

Hopefully no issues returning it, especially considering it was their fault :)

I know right?!?
Ill keep you posted
It's common knowledge that they are different among the years. I never even thought to ask since you actually bought it from a Mopar Parts dealer. I guess that's a good question to as next time someone has an issue! Glad you got it figured out. You should be good if you get the correct module. Keep us posted.

I will, thanks again for everyone's help. I have the right number on order and the dealer is swapping it out at no charge to me. It will be here next week.

Do you deal with Gengras ?

My Brother in Law has a body shop in Waterbury & for Performance Parts, he get the parts through Gengras.
He only trusts 2 dealerships in all of Connecticut

What is the other one? (genuinely curious because I would like to find one that is decent here in CT, but have not had luck so far).

I am not sure about the other dealer, it might be
Garavel CJDR in Norwalk

I myself had pretty good luck with getting work done at the dealership in Bristol, they saw that i was out of California & needed work done quickly so that i could return to San Diego

Thanks!

Oddly enough a family member was looking for a Grand Cherokee and Im pretty sure interacted with both of those dealers.

Bought my truck at Branhaven in Branford, and Milford CJDR auto group is in the town I live in. Typical "normal characteristic" after keeping my truck for a day....a tad annoying.

Yes, that's actually where I purchased the truck from. I liked the salesman but do not care for the service department, had an issue with the cruise control (clock spring) one week after i purchased (it was pre-owned certified), and they gave me a very hard time. I'll never buy another vehicle from them again.

I have been dealing with Papa's in New Britain and have had very good luck, service department has been excellent. I'll be buying my next vehicle through them.

All is well that ends well!
I recently had an unexpected possible need to tow. Like OP no controller.
Can you tell me where the different components mounted? I watched a video that looked like the actual module mounted to the right side of the steering wheel not too far from the control head. Alternatively I see mention of placing the module well to the left of the steering wheel.
I would like to purchase OEM equipment and have the installation emulate a factory install.
Any comments are appreciated.

FWIW its been a common complaint that installing the bracket as factory is a PITA. Lots of people resort to just zip-tying the module in place.

That is the one I saw ( earlier on this thread I think ) that has item A ( ITB Module ) mounted to the left side of the steering column. I will have to search some but I was pretty sure I saw a video where everything was mounted on the right side of the steering column in closer proximity to the control head. Seems like there was predrilled holes for screws etc. Maybe I was dreaming it.

I believe that the OEM brake controllers 2009 - 2012 & possibly 2013 the brake controllers were mounted over by the headlight switch
Then due to customer input, the OEM brake controllers were moved over to under the heater controls

The aftermarket controllers were mostly mounted directly above the drivers right knee

I'm not sure if yours would mount in a different place being an ecodiesel. Mine mounted to the the right as you sit in the truck, to the side of the center console.

I managed to install all four bolts, I pre-threaded them before I installed them. I used a box wrench for some, a 1/4" socket and ratchet with a long extension, and some patience.
Thinking about it now, I wonder if you couldn't just mount it from the other side with a few self taping sheet metal screws in about 5 minutes???
