YUP, blocked my access, and I run VPN thru Norton. Heck: Home Depot account, I can search in website, make orders, and everything. But when I "process" the order, it will not accept my CC info unless I send with VPN off, friggin weird.

Certain VPN servers will work and others won't.

The payment function will have its own encryption service that cannot function while you're connected using a VPN.

Most online banking up here will not function while using a VPN either.

That's again all dependent on the the encryption used by the payment function. I've found that Home Depot is a bit over the top with their online security features.

I've had problems using homedepot.ca too. if I attempt anything more than surfing.
I had to disable privacy functions within my browser otherwise it failed to display correctly.

YEAH, their stuff is screwy for sure. Lowes is a close second. Walmart the best, but they have upgraded their security a lil. I find whenever I clean out all the cache and stuff, I end up re-instating all my pages ref security, which is a PITA, but alas, the fun of having a PC in 2023. I would rather jump through security hoops than not have them tho.

A new source for the Ram 1500 8HP thermal bypass for anyone considering it.

I can only connect to this site using a VPN from my home in Canada.

I was able to connect with my VPN location set to the USA but not while set to the Netherlands.

Whoever has configured the above address with the website hosting service has made an error such that Cloudflare is rejecting the connections from Canada and certain US VPN services.

Nope. Everyone in Canada appears to be blocked. We can only see it when we use a VPN with a US IP address.

Was hoping to see what was found with the ones guys transmission with the random temp spikes. Didn't see a switch to Chevy coming after 65+ pages.
Throughout the 68 pages here, I believe I saw mentioned that the Stellantis cars do not necessarily use a heater like the 1500 Rams. Some BMW/other manufacturer models seem to. Some not. The 2500+ not using it makes sense as they are not subject to fuel economy standards.
My question is how/why the passenger cars do not need such a device.
Now I have to go dog through my wife's WK2 to see if it uses a similar set up.

If the failure of the heater thermostat can cause the fluid to not flow into the cooler and remain in the heater loop, it would explain rapidly rising trans temps. But it doesn't explain the seemingly random temp rising some people are describing.

It's no differant then a sticky engine thermostat.It's a pellet style thermostat that can be prone to sticking.
Not to pick on you James,but some of your questions,if you sat back and thought about it,common sense should answer the question.

Except it's a pencil diameter bore housing that restricts oil flow even when the stat is open.
No engineer reporting to me would have got my sign off on this design.

Here's another thread on the heater assembly,that you might want to read through to,if you haven't already read it.
It's also long as hell,but has some good info and pictures on the thermal management unit.It's also the thread that gave Caulk04 the idea to start manufacturing his thermostat bypass,which is far superior to the Revmax kit.By the time he came out with his bypass,it was to late for me and Khris/CrazyKid,but his bypass is the way to go now.BTW the thermal management unit is manufactured in Canada,lol

@caulk04 thanks for bringing this to my attention. I will take a look at it later tonight. For the record though I am not set up to ship outside of the U.S. currently but looking into it. For now, any orders to Canada can be fulfilled by @caulk04 directly and will let him know when I can start doing international orders. Also not shipping to California because of CARB regulations, that will likely never change though because I looked into the process and it's nuts!

Shipping to Canada is pretty simple. Use the U.S. postal service please as ups and fedex try to ravage us without consent (apparently the proper word for that is blocked) on bogus border clearing fees. I have seen ups try to charge 250 bucks to clear a 48 dollar item. u.S postal
and Canada post total was 5% gst and 10 bucks handling fee.
