Was thinking of changing my wheels from the black sport ones to the polished sport ones, whats everyone's thoughts on this?

First pick is my Ram, second is one I found with the polished wheels on it.

I just changed my 17" standard wheels to black. I'm not sure if they make the "wheelskins" or hubcaps for your wheels, but it's an inexpensive way to change it.

For the price of oem go aftermarket and buy exactly what you like. Or find someone to trade I know black sport rims are wanted by alot of people that have the polished

I despise flat black anything personally, so I think you're taking a step in the right direction by adding the chrome wheels and breaking up that sea of white a bit. I think the sport wheels look great too. If I could afford it/wasn't such a cheapskate I would buy a set of Limited wheels(the snowflake looking ones) and put on my truck. Just do it!

Not anything against polished wheels as I have them on my ram but with all the work you did putting on paint to match or blacked out accents I think the black looks better on your truck.

If you had some chrome or other polished parts it would look better but your truck to do it up. Im sure you can pick up a cheap pair from a take off and keep your black ones so you can swap back if you want.

I have the stock 20" chrome big horn wheels....would love to find someone local to swap out mine for black wheels.

So far I've replaced all my chrome emblems and the grill with black. Wheels are next on my list, and I'd love to do the door handles too. I can live with the bumpers for now.

I'm not a black wheel guy myself so I say go for it. Apart from mounting and balancing it shouldn't cost you much. The silver ones are readily available used and whatever you pay you can recover selling the currently more desired black ones. I'm not dropped like you, but you get the idea. These are the factory forged limited wheels.15558643503363239502531471464618.jpg

That chrome looks good, but I think you will need to chrome out your badges and door handles or paint the handles white for it all to tie in. I really like the black you have now, sits well with all the other black accents you added. Smoke out those taillights!

Thanks they came with the truck, but the sport ones look pretty similar. I also have a set of the snowflake limited ones another member mentioned. Funny he called them snowflake rims since I have my snow tires on them.

I might be interested in your black sports when you swap. I'm fairly local to you.

You need the lower pic taillights on your upper pic truck!! iMO
Totally changed the ass of my truck for the better, then added sport wheels with black inserts

Tinted taillights would look good but here in CA the highway patrol would think differently. Maybe a lite tint if it possible.

Hell, I just spent a good dime making everything black.

Before and after pics.
