Ordered a pair of pod fog leds that are supposed to be DOT.

Today i ordered some maintenance items.
I had to check a video on how to change the spark plugs because apparently is a little complicated with the Hemi. Doesn't seem worst than changing the spark plugs in the Pentastar, haven't cursed that much changing damn spark plugs since my 99 Camaro, then my 13 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, so i guess i'll have to see how is it going to be with the Hemi

Also i think i'll pay my local lube place to get the trans fluid changed. I can change all the fluids in my truck, but never done the trans before and that one seems quite a bit messy. I think with the 2 filters and the fluid i'm looking at $100 if i do it myself, or $200 if i let the dudes at my shop do it. Nothing to clean with the last

so i i'll check it out tomorrow.

I keep telling myself I need to have that fluid replaced as it’s the only I haven’t done. Truck has 77k miles now.

Truck is in the lube shop getting the trans fluid replaced. $370 OTD more than what i was expecting to shell out but what that heck. I shouldn't have to touch it again for a long time knocking on wood.

But you didn't even have to get dirty. I loathe doin tranny services. Never fails there's always enough fluid hiding somewhere you end up wearing it.

I wasn't expecting 16 mpg on 37's

, i'm still scratching my head on this one. Technically i have lowered the effective gearing to around 3.55's, but the tire is a lot bigger and heavier than stock. heck i'm about 1-1.5 mpg better than what i used to get with the Falken 315's in this same route. MPH measured and verified by GPS and verified with those mobile mph stations you see in certain spots around some cities.

What's the weight difference tho. And rolling resistance. 2 factors that are hard to calculate effect of but I'm sure play a huge part.

According to Falken Website the 315's were 72lbs, according to BFG website the KO2's are 69lbs.

New fog lights

i'm still waiting for the H10 to DT harness before i get them installed, but ill go out right now to at least configure the fogs with Alphaobd to tell the BCM i have fog leds in place.

Enable Fog light leds
Select vehicle, body computer, 2013-2017 body computer
Then active diagnostics
select procedure Car configuarion change (should be all the way down to the list)
CBC Features-LED Front Fog Lamps present - Set to Yes, default should be no
Finish

And

Enable Fog light switch high beam
Select vehicle, body computer, 2013-2017 body computer
Then active diagnostics
select procedure Car configuarion change (should be all the way down to the list)
CBC Features-Front Fog Lamp Dropout Enable - Set to no so they fog lamps can be enabled with the hi beams - Default Yes
Finish

I’m anxious to see how these pan out. Not sure how deep I’m gonna get with the stock fogs as they are so Deeply set into my bumper.

Ok so i got the new H10 to DT harness, and i took my old Fog wiring harness from my factory bumper out so this should be a complete plug and play install now

The factory fog wiring harness should be Mopar 68197065AA, $32 from the dealer
