Bought my 2019 longhorn ram last year, and its been nothing but problem since I bought it! 3 weeks after I bought it, my brakes started to squeal. Took it in and they could not hear! Took it back and the service manager rode with me and low and behold, he heard it! They replaced the brake pads, and that lasted about a month. Took it back for brakes squealing again, and they replaced my pads again, this time with different pads per manufacture. All is good for about 3 months, and then while driving, my parking light came on along a flashing "brake" light! It was like the parking was on, but it wasn't. Had it towed to the dealer, and it was a stuck caliper disc brake. They replaced. Then today, (not even a month later) here we go again, and it left me stranded for the same thing and have to have it towed on Tues.)
Needless to say, I will be talking to the General manager on Tues, and request that they replaced this truck, or I will file a Texas Lemon law!

I am a firm believer that there is no such thing as a lemon just repair people that
are not given the time to correct the cause not just the part that failed
or they are not smart enough to figure the cause
and yes sometimes it is design that is poor

Damn Sjean,
That's just terrible... I know how angry I would be. I don't have the issues that you are describing but I just wanted to offer you some moral support. For what its worth. I hope that you get it corrected for good this time. Good Luck Bro.

Sjean, your right. There are sometimes lemon vehicles and why we have lemon laws. Quality of parts and assembly issues for all 3 manufactures has in my opinion never been worse. I have been thru this with FCA, RamCare, dealer. McBroom is right. Get RamCare involved and understand their role is to monitor the number of dealer visits, number of repair attempts and then escalate to replacement/repurchase if unable to resolve. I don't know Tx lemon law, but that will be determining and controlling conclusion to what happens. Hoping you get this resolved.

Awesome!! Keep us posted here as how the progress goes.

My truck was towed, and Nyle Maxwell found that the other caliper went bad! This caliber failure was different from the other caliber that failed in my other back wheel a month previous. On this wheel, brake fluid saturated the electric actuator, and caused the electric wiring to short out, causing my caliber to lock up. So now, they are going to replace my pads, caliper, electric actuator, and wiring!
This will be the 3rd set of pads, and both back calipers replaced on this truck in a year!

Is there any fluid leaking or signs of a leak? That seems odd... you don’t have any enemies do ya?
