I am trying to get my hands on any information at all about the 2020 Power Wagon. I have contacted every dealership in my area, combed the internet and talked to a very unhelpful RAM CSR. So far, I've learned that:

-it is coming out next month
-they don't know when it is coming out
-there are no changes at all to the 2020 (seriously, one dealership fed me this as I was looking at the picture of the 2020, seeing the changes with my very eyes)
-there are interior changes, but not known yet

Obviously there are exterior changes. We can all see that. It's the powertrain that I want to know about. I'm crossing my fingers on a Cummins but crossing fingers hasn't been a fool proof plan in life. I'm not betting the farm on that one. I'm also hoping for a worthy jump in fuel economy.

We are on the cusp of ordering a new truck next month. It would be fantastic to know if the 2020 would be an option at this point. If anyone has anything...anything at all...to add I would greatly, greatly appreciate it!

I was looking to order a 2020 also. Most dealerships I've spoken to say since the 2019’s didn’t drop until the second quarter that the 2020 release will be delayed until early 2020. Doubt a diesel will be in the PW future but i could be wrong

I would plan on absolutely no changes from the just revamped ‘19. Of course thats just my opinion, but I just cant see any major changes being made until they put the completely new body/cab on the truck.

Ive been wrong once before in life, though.

2020 is the same as the 2019

There was an article In either car and driver or road and track a couple years back where they did a q & a with FCA. FCA stated that they wouldn't do a Cummins options for 2 reasons. 1 the winch would have to be deleted to fit the I intercooler and 2, they didnt think people would go for an almost 10,000 option for a Cummins when the truck already starts at 52,000

Some of the cummins trucks are already over 80 grand. Might as well make it 90!

Personally I dont want to deal with the higher maintenance costs with the emissions. Its 3k for the dpf filter replacement. My ex works for a dodge dealership in oklahoma and loves when people who buy a cummins ***** about needing to spend money for repairs not under warranty because they didnt let their truck go into regen before the filter clogged. I guess the older crowd still thinks the diesels still run like the days of yor. Several times she gets asked what limp mode is.

It’s flipped so much on diesels. Used to just let em run and never shut off. Now they must be worked hard or they screw up. Man old diesels are just awesome

Thank you for all of the great information! This has been the best place to find things out, far beyond over even dealers. I very much appreciate you taking the time out of your day to help me out!

A 2019 it is! I'm not complaining by any means. I'm so giddy for this truck I wake up in the middle of the night thinking about it -- and I will never even be able to drive it (epilepsy). October can't come fast enough!

So is this going to be your truck or the husband's? Dont see many females on here let alone ones who are into a 60 thousand dollar machine.

Try $71.5 when we add all the bells and whistles! Sadly it will be mine in spirit only. In 2014 I woke up with epilepsy. It's beyond weird. No medications have worked. They rightfully suspended my license and I have to keep it that way or the insurance company will force insurance for me onto the policy. I'd love to take it somewhere off road and give it a spin, but my seizures just happen. I don't have a trigger, or at least one I can remember. My brain hits the erase button afterwards and I lose a few hour chunk of time from before it started. Because of that, I would never dare get behind the wheel. I'm not crashing a 70k vehicle, especially when insurance wouldn't cover it since I'm not a licensed driver.

I'm still super happy though! I do still get to enjoy it. We love the Sunday drive and are moving to WV at the end of the year. That thing is going to rack up some serious miles and I can't wait to go places this money pit of a F150 can't go. Hell we just got stuck in some sugar sand on the Ocala National Forest roads. We had to be towed out -- by a Ram lol!

I didn't have a say in that vehicle purchase. I'm damn well getting one now! It wasn't that he went behind my back maliciously, he bought it as a surprise after I lost my license.

I see you are military - THANK YOU and your family for all of your sacrifices!
