Ok, had the brake booster start leaking inside the cab, due to having floor mats I didn't realize it for awhile so it ran down under the carpet soaking it pretty good, I scrubbed and "moped" up as much as possible, what would be recommended to help clean it up, I realize it may take several applications to really get it
Thanks

any access to a good carpet cleaner with a hand attachment? That's what I'd recommend.

I'd recommend a good old fashioned steam clean.

Good luck!

Believe it or not DAWN dish washing Soap ! It breaks down oils ! We use that per the DEP on Oil Spill clean ups ! Environmental friendly Per DEP ! To keep bubbles down in canister I believe you add vinegar to the collection canister ! Or go to your local HVAC shop , They have stuff I believe called Pink Stuff or something like that for oil spill clean ups ! I think that is also environmental friendly ! As mentioned a Steam Cleaning after chemicals or a Hot water Vacuum ! I have one from Bissel about 100$ Small and easy to carry made to help with pet stains in carpets as well :) I would also use a dehumidifier after washing the carpet if you can borrow one or part in Hot sun with a fan blowing in the window !

There’s a guy on Youtube “The Detail Geek” who shows his work, and also lists all the products and tools he uses. He gets out oil stains and a whole lot worse in some of his videos. His carpet routine is a detergent, drill brush, followed by a carpet extractor.

Thanks for the responses guys, will try and find some type of vacuum attachment, will give the Dawn soap a try didn't think of that, will admit I did several light spraying / scrubbing with Simple Green and used my shop vac, seems to help some but like I said realize it will take a bit of work to get it
