I have a 2011 with a factory single cd radio but I have buttons with a picture of a phone and another one with a voice thingy. When I push either one the display says "not equipped with u-connect phone". Now I'm assuming they are for hands free dialing and talking but could it be used to stream music through bluetooth? If so, can I somehow add the u-connect phone option? I have the auxiliary port to connect my phone for music but I much prefer to stream wireless.

Is the Phone / VR button on the left side of the steering wheel?

I recently bought this truck used from a dealer. The buttons are on the radio itself. Like I said when I hit either button it shows a message saying "not equipped with u-connect phone". I hoping maybe it's a module of some sort that can be added. It would come in very handy for me

You have a Uconnect ready radio. This means that it is capable of this feature once the Uconnect module is installed.

Yup, the Uconnect for this radio is a separate unit that plugs into the radio.

You can find them on Ebay and Amazon.

Do you by chance know if this would let me stream music via bluetooth too?

Click the 3 dot menu on the right, select share, select copy to clip board, then you can paste it into a post.

When you start typing your reply, just hold in one spot for a couple of seconds and the "paste" option should pop up...at least, it should if you're using Tapatalk.
