Having a fob issue that is intermittent, but now happening 75% of the time.
2013 Dodge Ram Sport

1. Door won’t unlock. Have to use fob key.
2. Door won’t lock.
3. Passive entry does not work.
4. Only starting method is fob touching push button start.
5. If any door opens I get “ key fob has left vehicle” notice. Key fob is still in vehicle.
6. I can be driving and the “key fob has left vehicle” notice pops up with audible alarm.
7. If I walk near vehicle I can’t unlock but I can see that the dash display is behaving like I’ve entered the vehicle ( brake + push button notice).

Batteries in fob are fresh.

The dealer has told me that it was a bad fob. They said the bad fob was making my other fob stop working. They took 150$ out of my pocket and said it’s fixed. 24 hours later- see above list.

When I mentioned that a site I read said that flashing the RF Hub might work. They laughed at me and said that if I read that off of an American website, it’s not like Canadian Rams. They are completely different vehicles (???).

I need some suggestions or a Ramcare representative to help me out.
Thanks in advance.

Do you have after market led lights, in interior or cargo or bed,? Turn off interior lights switch and see if you get different result

Put your trucks battery on a battery charger overnight, or if that is not feasible, charge it for a minimum of 2 hours on a battery charger.
A battery that is not close to fully charged, really messes with the ignition system

Another thing, your dealerships Service Writer does not know Ram ignitions & he must have been reading from a fairy tale book when he told you that about FOBs
