So I just bought an '09 TRX 2wd to replace my '02 Sport 4X4. The '02 got electrical gremlins and I got tired of chasing them. Mechanic said the fuse box/circuit board needs replaced and I'm not willing to put $800-1400 into repairs on a 13 year old truck with almost 200,000 miles on it. My problem now is what to do with it. I like the truck but with so many electrical issues involving lights I can't drive it at night.
It is an '02 Sport model and was purchased with all available factory options. 20" tires are in good shape and won't need replaced for some time. 4X4 works fine and body is straight. It does have a few dents and dings but it is not a "beater" by any means. Obviously I want to get as much for it, if I sell it, as I can but I also don't want to sound like a jerk by asking too much. I see prices on '02's running from $1500-8000. Suggestions on how to decide on an asking price??
