Ok guys I'm lost again, so the stock 5.7 lengths are Intake 6.600 and exhaust 7.825, the stock 6.1 are intake 6.650 and exhaust 7.850, and the 260 suggested pushrods are 6.600 intake and 7.850 exhaust from what I can find. What is my best bet here, 6.1 or the comps?
6.1 are fine. I installed my sidewinder 6 years ago now (I think) and have never have had a problem with any of the 6.1 pieces mentioned.

The 6.1 push rods and exhaust springs are really needed and the best bang for the buck. Don't forget to change the valve seals when you change springs. They are cheap and easy to change.

Edit: I've gotten my last two sets of push rods fro Trend. They are high quality and a good bang for the buck..

Been super busy lately but finally got around to swapping out the pushrods and springs and that did the trick! Only issue I'm still having is the oil pressure dropping. Installed long tube headers while I had the truck apart and The rest of my exhaust is getting built later this month and then I will do a pressure test to see if I actually lose pressure or maybe my new sensor or gauge is bad. Thanks for all the help!

You don't need a 05 computer swap, it's a waste of money. Get a superchips 91 tune on it asap and do the TMR delete to get rid of tq management. This combo works well as I have arguably the fastest 3rd gen NA QC and it happens to be a 03 with a factory computer

I've got the superchips 91 tune on it now, still need to do a little more testing with it once the exhaust is done and decide if I want to stick with it or not. Im still idling a little rough and it stalled out on me a few times when I drove it after swapping pushrods so I figured i would be better off getting a custom tune for it

It's not a complete waste of money, as it allows you to have trans tuning and better tuneability. The TMR mod is great and all, but isn't the same plus it removes ALL torque management instead of just reducing it, and we all know how RFE's like that...

Need a custom can made specifically for a 03. You will be just as fast and have just as good drivability as a 05

I will definitely give the tmr delete a try, but I'm still having idling and stalling problems and from what I have been told, without swapping to 05 computer and harness the idle cannot be adjusted...hopefully I'm wrong and there is a much easier way to be able to adjust that

What are you guys running 0-60 wise or 1/4 mile? Just wondering as when my truck only had a CAI my 1/4 was 15.59 and I didn't save a 0-60...now with the headers, can, CAI, tmr delete and 91 tune my 1/4 is 16.47 and 0-60 is 8.5s. Granted I did also add 20x12 wheels with 33x12.5 mud tires so I know that didn't help lol, not really going for a strip race truck as its a 4x4 qc just trying to regain what I lost with wheels and tires and I would have thought with what I added I should be back there already.

I would recommend you install gears (4:56) would work great for you and you would regain your performance and make the truck more capable off road.

With the 2800 stall and 4.56's and traction limited I've been getting just about 6 flat

Seconded

With a volant cai my truck went 15.46@89. Before the cam, headers, an converter my best was [email protected] but 14.4 at the track I always ran at. After the cam headers an converter my best was 13.47@99. I have just a comp 260 on a superchips.
