Found this close to were I live. They are asking $17k, haven't decided whether I want it or not. It isn't perfect and the exhaust is trashy with OEM exhaust manifolds. A little rough inside, driver seat is worn, torn and stained. Leather steering wheel is very worn.The shelf behind the seat is missing, hurst shifter with a pistol grip knob. Un-identified LED next to the starter button. Engine compartment looks unmolested with the exception of a CAI with a missing top lid. But with all that said it IMO is priced to sell. No DTC's engine runs good and drives nicely. Clutch feels good and will light the tires on a shift. I don't need it and if I did buy it I would sell Redtruck at some point.

What do you all think?

You'd still be able to fiddle with the 'new' truck. If it's mostly cosmetic issues then you can always 'improve' them. The SRT10s also have better following when it comes to performance upgrades.

This is my plan, I'll deduct the cost of all the repairs/parts that the truck needs from what the seller is asking and make a offer at that price. Also the differential isn't locking, with one wheel spinning harder than the other. No sense in taking a beating on the truck just because it's a SRT.

It sounds like it could be a fun project if you're looking for a build.
It'd hurt to buy something for $17 and then dump another $4k into making the interior right.

Good luck in your decision Greg, Surprised no LSD, Interior can be Katzkinned and I think Grant makes a 400 dollar steering wheel like the ones identical for LX applications. Return Red to her Crazy Spartan Glory unless megasquirt is still a go and not too much extra wiring, brackets and drilled holes to patch up. I am looking for a UD damper, long tubes set-up and a ported TB for the truck next year... Lol. again for the truck so keep that in mind. Very Best. Danny.

Get that SRT. All the time and energy you are putting into mega squirt could be used on the SRT to make a truck that really does perform.
