My son was in my 06 1500 QC 4x4 hemi with the cruise set on 70. The truck surged, rpm's jumped, then he said it felt like he hit the brakes. Right then it did the same thing again, revving then feeling like braking. He was on level roadway. After the 2nd episode the engine started sputtering as he coasted off the road, truck not responding to throttle input. He shut it off and it wouldn't restart, engine turning over but not starting. Any thoughts?
