I have an 07 dodge ram 1500 2wd 5.7L, I replaced throttle body since that was throwing a code, now I got a multiple misfire code changed spark plugs, coils, checked wires and fuses but has rough start with heavy blue smoke coming out exhaust then putting it into gear it shuts off automatically. Any suggestions, on a budget.. thank you!

when you replaced the trottle body did you change the rubber gasket? the new throttle body could also be bad try swapping your old one back on see if it runs better does it have any new codes?

BLUE smoke or BLACK smoke? Blue is oil which is really really bad. Black could be soot from incomplete burn caused by your misfire.

yea something is up with ur throttle body un hook battery for a while re install old one throttle body see what happens. Bad new parts are not uncommon at all as far as blue smoke check ur pcv valve clean it doesnt help that its running like **** so ignore the smoke for now.

Absolutely but I'm going to be replacing 8&6 fuel injector then go from there. Because yes it runs terribly and then stalls when putting into gear more less because the rpm isn't settling

There is a procedure for programming/setting the new throttle body. I don't remember what it is, but I'm certain it is on YouTube.

New update guys, and yes I've done did the throttle body procedure. Anyways, took out all passenger side fuel injectors clean them up put them back in, truck managed to fire up and (be able to be put in drive and not stall) let it run a little then started back with stalling. Took the truck up the road a little and back home yesterday and today I finally got the engine reader home so I could read any codes that may have thrown and boy have a got A LOT what's your thoughts codes in next comment
