Well started my lift on this past Saturday and by 11 am the rear was done then the front.Well the kit says 5 hrs and on a new truck that's probable right but rust is a ***** lower control arms Wow after hours of air tools ,touch and calls into RC I had to cut the two rear bolts. And that screws up the bushings :( Then had to wait till Monday for the bolts Dodge part only and not cheap.I went with all new lower arms with all new bushings, finished by 4 pm..

I'm guessing you're talking about the lower strut bolts and bushing. The bolt and bushing kit is like 30 bucks on rockauto. How the rest of the install go?

Your right about the lower bolts and bushings, the only problem I had was the truck was on my sons lift at work which is a ford dealership .We were really lucky that my son had of Monday.Rock auto takes 3 to 5 days I had to have them Monday morning so just let me say I paid way more then that, every thing else went smooth .O I forgot when taking out the diff one side was really tight really tight rust tight, when it came out it pulled an e-clamp and all the gears cam out with the axial.Had to get new e-clamp and re install no big deal....

Damn sounds fun. Luckily you had access to that lift. Better than paying someone else to do it

i have a rc 6 inch on my 2wd, and it took me from 9 in the morning till 1 in the next morning, and then waking up at 10 and finished at like 12.

the reason being, a shop screwed me over and said they could press in ball joints... i have to call them like 4 hours later to find out if they are done, jut to have them tell me their press was broken, and they only pressed in the control arm bushings. they found out they couldnt press them in like an hour after i dropped them off... couldnt have called me?

nope, i had to take them to another shop before they closed. they did it in ten minutes for free. other than that the install was great and fun! so i feel your pain man

Basically because I didn't want to spend the extra money to upgrade to 35's or 37's. And the truck is still a DD and is used to occasionally pull a trailer.
