1/4 mile gears with 8speed tranny?

Building a 397 stroker engine with a D1sc procharger in a 2016 single cab ram 1500... My previous truck had 3.21 gears in it and I would finish the 1/4 mile in the top of 5th gear. Would 3.92 gears be optimal for this build or should i consider something else?

I would honestly stick with the 3.21 if you finished at the top of 5th 3.92s is just another shift. And dropping tire size can give you the same effect and reduces rotating mass

Think wild one went to 3.55 from 3.21 and said if he had to do over would have stayed with the 3.21
