Does anyone know how strong this Outlet is? my question is will it charge my laptop battery.
My wife's Ford did not charge the laptop as it kept blowing a fuse Ford said it wasn't strong enough to do that job.

Mine is labeled with writing on it saying 150w I think. Most laptops consume less than 1/3 of that as far as I know.

For charging should be fine. I tried a dremel tool and was too weak.

Like they said... Should work, unless your missus has some sort of fire-breathing Alienware gaming rig.

Even my 15" MacBook Pro happily works and charges off a cheap inverter plugged into the cigarette lighter outlet.

One thing to keep in mind if It's too weak; have her recharge it while not using it, then use it on battery alone once charged.
