12 Volt Power Port Install

I am installing an additional 12V power port. Ran power line from fuse 54B to power receptacle and grounded to the center console mount bolt. When testing between these two points with ACC switch on I have 12v but nothing I plug in works. When i put positive lead on +spade and negative lead on -spade I only get a reading of vdc. Is the power receptacle bad internally. Confusing.

I should also note that I used a fuse tap utilizing fuse 54B as the source.

That fuse may be for the power adjustable pedals. For giggles, plug something in and see if it works when you flip switch for the pedals.

That fuse is for the center console cigarette lighter. 54A is powered all the time. 54B is powered when switched on ACC or Run. Adjustable pedals work fine.
