12v plug not working

I had one of those 12v air pumps I was using it after awhile it started to smoke and it got all hot. After I unplugged it I plugged in my charger to see if it’s still working. It worked for the whole day. But now it’s not working at all I put a multi meter on it.its not getting power at the plug and the fuse which wasn’t blown. I stuck the multimeter down the fuse things and no power. I figure it’s from the air pump thing. Is this fixable without spending a ton(DIY) or is it ultimately screwed

you know i just had this happen to me. stereo was working fine, then one day it just quits. couple days go by sitting I'm at the gas station it comes back on. stays on for a week and goes out again. my amps have power but not getting the trigger 12v to turn them on (which is connected to the console switched 12v source) run another wire to the rear 12V and all is good but the center 12V isnt getting any power. checked with a volt meter and the wires are dead
