2013 Ram 8.4 Uconnect!
Screen is busted!
Most cost efficient route for replacement?
Can I use another Ram 8.4 Uconnect radio for replacement? I just bought the truck today, got a decent deal on it!

If you have the 8.4 without the navigation, it is called the RA3
The 8.4 with Navigation is called the RA4

If you do buy a replacement, get the VIN of the vehicle that it came out of. You will likely need it

Take a picture of the serial number on the back and post. Most cost effective would be screen replacement which is cheaper on the older RA3/4 radios (if that is what you have).

I ended up buying a salvage yard VP3-NA same as mine, out of a 1 year newer Ram! I have the vin# the part will arrive tomorrow with a 90 day warranty! Wish me luck!

Will be fine, I put a 2015 Ra4 in my 13 w a ra3.

You could probably sell your old one even with the bad screen to save some money.
