'14 header bolt recall

Just got back from the Stealership getting the manifold bolts/gaskets replaced for the second time. Was informed that there was a recall on the bolts a little while ago so, fwiw, if'n any of ya'll develop an exhaust leak make sure you question your chosen repair tech on the age of their stock.

This is nothing new. All Hemi trucks from 03 and up have been known to have header bolts break off. Its not just a 2014 thing.

Dayum! My 09 didn't have a problem, but I had hoped that the 'bad bolt' syndrome had been corrected for good,,,

My 09 engine would shake like a **** in 4 banger mode,, The 14 seems 'better', but it's a heavier truck/too soon to tell,,,

There never was a recall for the manifold bolts. They issued a RRT a few years ago but that was it.

Yep, "recall" was my mistake. Bad choice of wording. According to the tech a "bulletin" was issued a couple of months ago. I was told that this problem was quote "unfortunately common". Much like my use of quotation marks in this post.

I replaced broken manifold studs a few times on my mom's and buddies hemi Durangos years ago. It's nothing new and ******** it wasn't fixed years ago
